This week will mark the destiny and future of our country. In fact, this is to be a week set apart for fasting and prayer.
On Wednesday October 29, a worldwide time for intercession and prayer has been declared. We will repent of our love of money that has taken the place of being a god to us. We will also declare and decree what the word of God says regarding our future.
We must ask God for intervention in our economy and for the stabilization of the economies of the world. We must act on the words spoken in 2 Chronicles by praying in the manner that is described in verse 14.
I invite everyone to stop and pray this week for our country, for the outcome of this election and the future of our economy--all for the purpose of seeing our God move on our behalf. Our God is the God of the mountains and also of the valleys! Let us pray in one accord and speak to this mountain of impossibility and declare life over the "dry bones" of our economy. I will be one of many who will stand on the watch. May we count on you?
Vote as if Judgment Day is on its way....because it is.

I am quite discouraged about the state of the campaign...but...still,
Every day I wake up and go to sleep, and numerous times in between I pray for the McCain/Palin ticket to win the election. I also have given $, and hope to put some phone bank or walking time in before the election...at any rate, we have to trust that God’s hand is working in history.

We pray for these things, but a part of me sincerely believes we’re due a massive, fearful, and terribly righteous judgment. An Obama presidency would be just the thing to usher it in.
A freeper posted some time ago that there is a prayer chain that every day @ 6pm to pray for “our Nation be healed and returned to the Constitution. In Jesus name amen”.
I set an alarm and take the time to pray at least. that every day. Please join me at 6pm wherever you are.
O God, send forth Your light and Your truth into the lives of our citizens. Let them guide us; let them bring us to Your holy mountain, to the place where You dwell. Surely You desire truth in our inner parts. You teach us wisdom in the inmost place. Please expose to us the deeply embedded lies we have believed, Lord and replace them with permanently engraved truth. In Jesus name, Amen
we must pray to God that HE helps us to help ourselves, by voting in good people.....
its not about what "we" deserve....that question has already been answered.....its our children and our grandchildren and all of their children onward that we must act NOW to protect....
I've been praying off and on day and night for a very long time now.
Thank You Lord for watching over us. Thank You Lord for Your protection.
Please watch over our country Lord.
May our politicians look to You for guidance. May the voters look to You for guidance.

Okay. She has announced a prayer meeting and invitation for Christians to pray about the economy.
This certainly has ramifications regarding America’s elections, but that is not the main topic.

A popular and powerful Catholic devotion is the Divine Mercy Chaplet - it is a prayer that I think even our dear Protestant brethern might take a liking to. It is entirely focused on the sacrifice our Blessed Lord on the cross. It invokes the Mercy of the Father upon the world through his Son, Jesus Christ. If you would like to know more, there are tons of sites out there promoting it.

Try not to get too depressed, remember, the liberal media is one big fat propaganda machine. They are trying (and succeeding) to depress and discourage you ... so much to the point that you’ll say, why do I even bother voting, it won’t make a difference. That’s what they’re hoping for. Do you really think that if McCain was doing well that they would share it with us? Don’t buy into it. I think Bush was behind alot more at this time four years ago. I think you’ll be surprised.
