Planets Can’t Grow Past the Electric Fence
CEH ^ | June 9, 2009

June 9, 2009 — In the artwork, it looks so simple: dust clumps into planets that grow into nice, orbiting solar systems – like ours. It’s not so simple when you try to nail down the real physics. Planet-building models have to contend with a host of variables and barriers to growth (accretion). Another barrier was discussed in Astrophysical Journal this month: the electric barrier...

We can't warm up the atmosphere of Earth, a placed designed for us, enough to halt the crop failures in Siberia, and Canada, but we're going to do it on a planet we can't live on? This stuff is definately for dreamers.

Anything is posible for GOD. You should know that. We were made in his image. Someday every thing will be possible for us. Some day.

Jupiter's Composition Throws Planet-formation Theories into Disarray
by Robert Roy Britt
Nov 17 1999
Examining four-year-old data, researchers have found significantly elevated levels of argon, krypton and xenon in Jupiter's atmosphere that may force a rethinking of theories about how the planet, and possibly the entire solar system, formed. Prevailing theories of planetary formation hold that the sun gathered itself together in the center of a pancake-shaped disk of gas and dust, then the planets begin to take shape by cleaning up the leftovers. In Jupiter's current orbit, 5 astronomical units from the sun, temperatures are too warm for the planetesimals to have trapped the noble gases. Only in the Kuiper belt -- a frigid region of the solar system more than 40 AU from the sun -- could planetesimals have trapped argon, krypton and xenon.

While lead researcher Tobias Owen does not put much stock in the idea that Jupiter might have migrated inward to its present position, other scientists on the team say the idea merits consideration. Owen expects the probes will find similarly high levels of noble gases in Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Hints of these gases have even been found in the thick atmosphere of Venus, another planet now begging more study.
IOW, according to evidence, Jupiter formed further out. It has more mass than all the other known solar planets and asteroids -- combined.

The number 42

Douglas Adams was asked many times during his career why he chose the number 42. Many theories were proposed,[6] but he rejected them all. On November 3, 1993, he gave an answer[7] on alt.fan.douglas-adams:

“The answer to this is very simple. It was a joke. It had to be a number, an ordinary, smallish number, and I chose that one. Binary representations, base thirteen, Tibetan monks are all complete nonsense. I sat at my desk, stared into the garden and thought ‘42 will do.’ I typed it out. End of story.

Bahh, no wonder the monkeys picked it out of a scrabble bag and he couldn’t come up with the question.

As I always had to tell the engineers, “You can build anything with a pencil”.

An artist's drawings are great for illustrating someone's theories but that hardly makes it reality.

Nor does all the computer simulations. Planet formation is still an unknown process.

There's no shortage of theories on planet formation. This is part of what appears at a NASA web site:

“The survey observations support the theory that disk concentration is a necessary step in planet formation, but the specifics appear different. Astronomers originally expected that the large dust grains would settle first, followed by smaller grains, then the gas. However, the Hubble observations revealed it was “all or nothing,” according to Grady. That is, the team did not see some flared disks with large grains, other flared disks with smaller grains, and flared disks of gas. Either a disk had a flare with everything in it, or it had no flare at all. It may be that after the large grains settle, they no longer block light from the central star, which causes the smaller grains and the gas to vanish. “The small grains go solar sailing out of the system, pushed by pressure from the star's light, which also breaks down the gas molecules,” said Grady.

But getting a paper published is what counts.

Can I ask an important question?

The liquid miracle grow I purchased had the numbers 24-4-8.

I did a little research, and found the first number is for ‘green’ growth, the second number is for “fruits and flowers”, the third for “root development”.

For my vegetable and flower garden, shouldn’t I be getting a mix with a higher second number?

I was thinking of taking it back to the store.

We could, if the enviro-nazis and socialists would get out of the way.

God gave the us ability to dream.. To push limits and think outside the box. God does not want the human race to be a bunch of mindless drones..

The article is only partly right. Gravity cannot agglomerate material past minute sizes. Birkeland currents and the Z-pinch effect they produce can. Those kinds of plasma physics phenomena are responsible not only for planets but for galaxies and the strings of galaxies we observe as well. God does not work outside of the laws of physics.

“God does not work outside of the laws of physics.” [excerpt]
Lets see, Christ walked on water, walked through solid walls, rose from the dead, and ascended vertically into the clouds.

On the scientific side, unless we are all powerful, all knowing, omnipresent, omnipotent beings, we cannot know that He does not work outside of the laws of physics.

Because in some out of the way corner of the universe, while nobody was looking, He could have overrode a few physical laws and made a planet or two out of nothing.

In the end, the most any one person can objectively say is ‘I am not aware of Him haveing worked outside of the laws of physics.’

Lets see, Christ walked on water, walked through solid walls, rose from the dead, and ascended vertically into the clouds.

Consider.... Jesus was seen (by followers) walking around in a Roman province for forty days or thereabouts after he had been crucified. Simple logic dictates that if he had been walking around in a dead body, as some believe, that Romans would have seen him, executed him a second time, and done whatever was necessary to ensure that he STAYED dead the second time. Clearly Jesus was not walking around in a literal and 4real dead body and had no more use for dead bodies than you or I would.

Nonetheless, large numbers of people DID see him walking around after he died and every one of those original disciples went to their deaths rather than deny that. The ulterior motive for such a group dying to the man rather than admit to some sort of a scam or big con simply isn't there. There's basically no way; One or two people being psycho enough to die for a known falsehood might be possible, the entire group isn't. Somebody would get cold feet and squeal.

To the people who witnessed the thing, there was no discernable difference between what they actually did experience and having seen Jesus walking around in an actual dead body. The best starting point for that sort of thing is still Julian Jaynes' "Origin of Consciousness", and that sort of thing WAS (it no longer occurs) within the bounds of the laws of physics.

If you want violations of physical and mathematical laws and the laws of probability in wholesale lots, you need to talk to the evolosers; they specialize in that kind of thing.

So you don't believe that God bodily raised Christ from the dead?

I don't mean was Jesus walking around in a dead body, I mean a resurected body.

And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?

Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them [his] hands and [his] feet.

And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?

And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.

And he took [it], and did eat before them.

Luke 24:38-43

What about ‘he stinketh’ Lazarus?

“The best starting point for that sort of thing is still Julian Jaynes' "Origin of Consciousness", and that sort of thing WAS (it no longer occurs) within the bounds of the laws of physics.” [excerpt]
God is outside of the laws of physics He created.

He is not required to operate within them.

If He was, He wouldn't be God.

“If you want violations of physical and mathematical laws and the laws of probability in wholesale lots, you need to talk to the evolosers; they specialize in that kind of thing.” [excerpt]
Ah yes, the violation of the laws physics and logic by non-deities.

No, I'm not talking about dead bodies walking around.

I'm talking about LIVE bodies walking around that were previously dead but are no longer dead.

Just want get off this rock and seed the galaxy.. With variations of humanity

I'd recommend James Blish's "The Seedling Stars" and Frederick Pohl's "Farthest Star".

It's a fascinating subject for creative speculation.

There appear to be two kinds of stories in the bible about people being heard from after they died. One is the sort of thing you read in the little ghost story in 1 Samuel about King Saul, the prophet Samuel, and the "witch of Endor". In that case, a person who most assuredly was deceased i.e. Samuel, appeared to living people and the experience was utterly indistinguishable from that had the person arrived in flesh and blood.

The other sort of story involves two or three people who Jesus brought back from the dead and in those cases, one in which a girl had died minutes aforehand, the body was still servicable and Jesus somehow brought the spirit and body back together. In other words, the second kind of story is similar to what we now call near death experiences.

The story about Jesus being seen for a period of 40 days after he died has to be an example of the first kind of story. Jesus body was quite definitely no longer servicable.
