Did Ribonucleoproteins Spark Life?
ICR ^ | June 15, 2009 | Brian Thomas, M.S.

Despite “decades of persistent failure to create life by the ‘spark in the soup’ method,”[1] evolutionary biochemists are still trying to find an exclusively naturalistic explanation for how the first cell developed. Many possible chemical precursors to life have been systematically ruled out by rigorous experiments. What they have found is that the molecules necessary for life are found exclusively within cells that are already living.

One explanation proposed by evolutionists...

After millions of man hours of intense research over the last 50 years, by some of the greatest minds science has to offer, in the best universities and research facilities throughout the world, we have been able to produce this very primitive self-replicating molecule, proving once and for all that no “intelligent design” was necessary to create life.

That sounds materialist to me. If I were a Creationist, I wouldn't trust it.

Yep, that is their insane dream.

But it still would go nowhere.

You missed the sarcasm in my post.

All those scientific minds, all those man hours of intense research, all those gleaming expensive lab facilities, and they want to say that no intelligence was necessary.

Don’t you see the irony?

The very act of applying intelligence and intelligent design to create life refutes their motivational premise.

No, I got it. (but they keep telling us that they are bringing us “modern miracles”)

Romans 1:20
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

No worries, mate. You see, we’ve spent billions to send these rovers to Mars and they are going to find life any moment now.

It’s just around that rock over there.

I’m sure of it.

They believe the lie, “Ye shall be as gods ...”

Too bad they will all have to eventually die and learn the Truth the hard way.

amazingly, no matter how many times God’s creation confounds them, they still resort to more ‘hand waving’ and ‘just so’ stories of mythical pre biotic this, and mysterious ‘soups’ that happen to contain the possibly necessary components despite the fact that those components cant possibly exist outside the rna they are supposed to be interacting with...

i love it....

“What they have found is that the molecules necessary for life are found exclusively within cells that are already living.”

Exclusively?

From “Darwin’s Ghost” by Steve Jones, I have ... (on page 208) ...

“A few discoveries from an unknown land prove that biology’s supposed preface, the Cambrian, is in fact well into its plot. So deficient was the evidence of earlier times that nobody guessed it was there. Single-celled creatures stretch back even further. The balance of isotopes in carbon trapped in Greenland rocks three thousand eight hundred million years old resembles that of the modern bacteria that live on methane. They evolved when earth was in its infancy and show that it took several times longer to develop a cell with a nucleus than it did for life to appear. Chemistry hints three billion year’s worth of fossils older than the Chinese seaweed are waiting to be discovered.”
