Romney should just STFU and leave the political planet.

His ideas on ‘health care’ STINK!

Others have commented on Obama policies. Romney is not alone. Show some political chops and comment on the op-ed. It’s sad this thread includes more invective than substance. Sounds much like DU or MSNBC.

“Bob Riley will be the next president, God willing.”

Hadn’t seen him mentioned but would like to see him and Gov. Barbour run next time, the more well qualified people run, the better. Err, are we going to have to prevent use of his middle name, like Obama did.

If Romney wants to attack Obama’s economic policies I say fine.... GO ROMNEY.

And if you studied the history of the Great Depression, Obama is copying FDR chapter and verse.

A ‘Command and control’ economy would require martial law as FDR found out.

Romney is a two-faced, two-bit, political whore who would do or say anything to get elected.

In addition to Romney, you just described 95 percent of the politicians in this country!

You’re delusional. Romney is no Obama.

Romney doesn’t hate capitalism like Obeyme does.
Romeny isn’t a crypto-Marxist
Romney doesn’t surround himself with evil thugs
Romney isn’t an anti-white closet racist like Obama.
Sure Romney’s Health Care was not a good solution, but give the guy a break.

You cannot deny that words like this are good conservative fighting words:

“Like other presidents before him, Barack Obama inherited a recession. But unlike them, he has made it worse, not better,’’ Romney wrote in an opinion piece published yesterday in USA Today.

The former Massachusetts governor - who made his name and fortune at private equity firm Bain Capital, ran for the GOP presidential nomination last year, and could very well run again in 2012 - derides Obama’s economic know-how.

“His failure to stem the unemployment tide should not have been a surprise. With no experience whatsoever in the world of employment and business formation, he had no compass to guide his path,’’ Romney wrote.

Romney also joined in the GOP criticism of White House remarks that the $787 billion economic stimulus is working, and accused the administration of trying to “disguise the truth’’ by touting “inflated figures of jobs ‘created.’ ’’

“Focusing solely on jobs created while ignoring the far greater numbers of jobs lost is Harry Houdini economics,’’ he added.

Ah a voice of reason! When conservatives or so-called RINOS come out with excellent anti-Obama fighting words, why so much vitriol? Most of the people here have such a deep but shallow hatred for Romney, but if he’s out there swinging against Obama, why do you people have to make shallow MSNBC-style, Olberman-style barbs about his hair, etc.???

I think both Romney & Palin are not our best bet. Both are damaged goods from 2008, IMO.

There are other INCREDIBLE shining stars like Michelle Bachman and Rep Mike Rogers who are better choices.

Palin has become too much like a reality-tv/entertainer lately. Yawn. Sure she’s got the right values, but the wrong messenger. You guys will see...

Yea, we’ve seen your policies... sit down and shut up Romney.. MA is living proof of the disasters your policies are.

God, if this is the best the RNC can do, then there is no hope for the national republican party at all.

Only Romney is damaged because of his attacks (indirectly)
on Gov.Palin and her children.

Romney is reprehensible, and a bad past governor.

Unlike gorgeous, smart, Gov. Palin.

This is Romney’s best bet. He ought to put together The Romney Commission on reviving the economy. Hold hearings around the country and come out with a number of proposals.

Yes, but doesn’t the “reality TV/entertainer” that Palin has become sort of bother you? This kind of star-seeking mode she’s in is much akin to Obama’s. I wouldn’t call Palin a narcissist, but something is amiss in her personality, IMO. That’s why I’d much prefer someone who doesn’t view themselves as a “political personality” like Palin (and yes, Obama views himself that way too).

Rather, someone who is about the nuts & bolts of getting things done is the candidate we need. Again, I cite people like Michelle Bachman and Rep Mike Rogers...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G44NCvNDLfc

Think about it: Bachman or Rogers don’t care about being entertainment phenomena...

Remember, Reagan didn’t care whether he was a “political personality” so much as getting the job done. He never came across as a cheerleader type.

Most Americans are impressed that Gov. Palin was
a good governor, unlike the stab-you-in-the-back Romney.

The CATO results are compelling. Romney was terrible.

Mitt Romney got a "C" rating from CATO.
And that was BEFORE Romney's failure re: Socialized medicine.

"As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.
* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.
* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace."

Many believe FDR was correct but did not go far enough. Japan's lost decade does not convince them. The Hugo Chavez energy shortage does not convince them. They will not be convinced. They must be defeated.

Want more proof of the worthlessness of your Master?

PROOF RomneyCARE is a Disaster (and Romney is utterly clueless)

“Small businesses bridle at health insurance hikes (Romneycare strangles Mass. businesses)
some really bad news from Blue Cross-Blue Shield: His company’s health insurance rates are going up 47 percent in January.”

“ Rationing medicine has already begun
… government-

“State plan may place limits on patients’ hospital options( Mass. RomneyCare )”

"Romney Visits Nebraska, Talks Health Care [where he defends Romneycare] “

"Paying the Health Tax in Massachusetts [Romneycare]
Massachusetts requires every resident to have health insurance, and this
year, without informing us directly, the state had changed the rules in a way that made
our bare-bones policy no longer acceptable. Unless we ponied up for a pricier policy we
neither need nor want—or enrolled in a government-sponsored insurance plan—we
would have to pay $1,000 each year to the state.
How did we become outlaws? “

"National Health Preview - The Massachusetts debacle, coming soon to your neighborhood."
It was only a matter of time.
They're trying to manage the huge costs of the subsidized middle-class insurance program that is gradually swallowing the state budget.
The program provides low- or no-cost coverage to about 165,000 residents, or three-fifths of the newly insured, and is budgeted at $880 million for 2010, a 7.3% single-year increase that is likely to be optimistic.
The state's overall costs on health programs have increased by 42% (!) since 2006."

A Very Sick Health Plan; Bay State’s ‘Grand Experiment’ Fails [RomneyCare]
"Initiated on Mr. Romney’s gubernatorial watch in 2006, this “experiment” has fallen on hard times, and predictably so. “

Health care in Massachusetts: a warning for America [Romney brings Mass. to its knees]
The Bay State's mandatory insurance law is raising costs, limiting access, and lowering care.

Three years ago, Massachusetts adopted a plan requiring all residents to purchase health
insurance, with state subsidies for lower-income residents. But rather than creating a
utopia of high-quality affordable healthcare, the result has been the exact opposite –
skyrocketing costs, worsened access, and lower quality care."

"‘Severe’ doc shortage seen hiking wait time
“The shortage is getting more severe”"

“Health costs to rise again.( RomneyCare )
The state’s major health insurers plan to raise premiums by about 10 percent next year,
prompting many employers to reduce benefits and shift additional costs to workers.”

“Nation’s ill-advised to follow Mass. plan [Health plan a failure]
September 17, 2009 The canary is dead.
Massachusetts, the model for the ObamaCare universal insurance plan, is the canary in
the health care coal mine. Yesterday, its obit appeared on the front page of both The Wall
Street Journal and The Boston Globe-Democrat “

"Bay State Insurance Premiums Highest in Country - Boston Globe August 22, 2009
Massachusetts has the most expensive family health insurance premiums in the country,
according to a new analysis that highlights the state’s challenge in trying to rein in medical costs
40 percent higher than in 2003. Over the same period, premiums nationwide rose an average of 33 percent..."

"Massachusetts: the laboratory for ObamaCare“

"Massachusetts' Obama-like reforms increase health costs, wait times [RomneyCare]
Premiums are growing 21 to 46 percent faster than the national average"

"Mass. Pushes Rationing to Control Universal Healthcare Costs (RomneyCare)
A 10-member Massachusetts state healthcare advisory board unanimously recommended
that the state begin rationing healthcare to keep the state’s marquee universal health care program afloat financially.

"1,000 cancer patients 'refused treatment'"

"Massachusetts Universal Healthcare System Breaking Down Already
ERs in Massachusetts have not seen a downturn in visits. On the contrary, it seems that ER visits are actually on the upswing in the Bay State. In fact, in 2007 they were higher than the national average by 20 percent...”

"Hospital patients 'left in agony'"

"National Health Preview - The Massachusetts debacle, coming soon to your neighborhood.
In Massachusetts's latest crisis,
They're trying to manage the huge costs of the subsidized middle-class insurance program that is gradually swallowing the state budget.
The program provides low- or no-cost coverage to about 165,000 residents, or three-fifths of the newly insured, and is budgeted at $880 million for 2010, a 7.3% single-year increase that is likely to be optimistic.
The state's overall costs on health programs have increased by 42% (!) since 2006
Mr. Romney should have known better before signing on to this not-so-grand experiment, especially since the state's "free market" reforms that he boasts about have proven to be irrelevant when not fictional.
Only 21,000 people have used the "connector" that was supposed to link individuals to private insurers."

A Very Sick Health Plan; Bay State’s ‘Grand Experiment’ Fails [RomneyCare]
… fiscal troubles aplenty within Repubican Mitt Romney’s brainchild, Massachusetts’ “grand experiment” in “universal” health care."
"Initiated on Mr. Romney’s gubernatorial watch in 2006, this “experiment” has fallen on hard times, and predictably so.

“RomneyCare” is threatening to bankrupt the state.“

Romney's "solutions" are nothing more than the usual pedestrian GOP talking points.

No mention of reducing the size of government, promoting states' rights, tax reform, or taking on entitlement programs. People see these "solutions" and realize it's just the same old same old socialism albeit at a slightly lower speed.

If no politician is talking about ground-breaking, Earth-shattering reform, then we might as well sit tight and wait for CW2 to erupt.

Re-read my post. I never said Romney was my Master.

I suggested that there are better alternatives to Romney (and, yes, Palin) such as Michelle Bachman and/or Mike Rogers (did you watch his fantastic Youtube video that’s gone viral?)

The more you and others here fight a useless fight against Romney with all your Olberman-style vitriol, the more you waste precious energy that could go against the REAL threat and that is Obeyme and his Marxist thugs who hate freedom.

It’s time for you to let go of your Romney hatred fetish and focus forward.

You don’t have to “say” it, for it to be obvious that
Mitt Romney is your Master.

As for hate, no one, but no one, hates more than
Mitt Romney and his band of RomneyBOTs. Look at
what their vicious reprehensible hatred did on the
eve of Election 2008.
