If healthcare passes the socialist coup d'etat has advanced beyond the point of no return!
Dec 19, 2009 | Jim Robinson

Let's face it FRiends, if the unconstitutional healthcare bill passes, the socialist coup d'etat will have advanced well beyond the point of no return!

There is nothing in the constitution that authorizes this illegal federal power-grab and plenty that forbids it. If the Obama/Reid/Pelosi Marxist attempted coup pulls this off without the people resisting to the hilt, then they'll have no restrictions whatsoever on implementing the rest of their Liberty killing Marxist agenda. America will be no more.

The whole idea of our constitution is to severely restrict the federal government to only its dozen and a half expressly listed enumerated powers and to guarantee and protect our unalienable individual rights as well as our sovereign states rights and republican form of government.

The constitution has not failed, the people have. When the government will not willingly restrain itself within its legal bounds, then its the duty of the people to enforce the constitution and restrain the government.

The constitution does not define our rights, it defines the limits on government. Our rights are granted by God not government, and government cannot take them away. Our government was established by and for us and was granted by us certain limited powers and only those limited powers. Our government serves at our pleasure to defend our nation and our rights. It does not RULE over us.

Obama is not a dictator. Reid, Pelosi, et al, are not our rulers. When they overstep their bounds to the degree they have, then they MUST be brought back down to reality.

It's time to jerk their constitutional chains taut!

It's time for US to enforce our Constitution and invoke our Bill of Rights!!

It's time to assemble for duty, for Liberty!!

The French recently implemented a system that pushes back against Stalinist flavored medical control ~ they simply set a moderately high deductible before the government steps in and wastes tax money on someone.

Obviously the French government can keep on raising the deductible limit until Stalinist-care is virtually eradicated from the national budget.

Seems to me that no matter what the Democrats do now, next year when we seize control of the organs of state it should be quite possible to set a VERY HIGH deductible limit ~ something like $15,000.

Another alternative is to take Nancy Pelosi's approach and TAX DEMOCRATS to pay for 100% of the costs of their system.

That ought to tie up the courts for a decade or so, and in the meantime we can pull it apart a clause at a time and dispose of it like the rubbish it is.

This is not a time to wait. Campaigning for conservatives, no matter where they are running, must get up to full speed now. Disregard Republican "leadership" and put time and money into individual campaigns.

Try to take over the local Republican party. Few people get involved and a takeover by conservatives is not that difficult.

They are all good ideas and there are many more action steps that can be taken. First off, we all need to look at the long run, like our opponents do. Get involved in any kind of community group you want to, but bring conservative ideas along. Volunteer at Acorn, but subvert their mission by gathering information and subtly but consistently taking action to undermine their goals. Sign up voters outside of the supermarket - just like the leftists do. Volunteer at the school as a tutor, and mention freedom, and our founding fathers to the young students.

Be out working for conservative candidates from now until we win. Run for office locally, or at whatever level you feel you can succeed at. Spread the conservative message everywhere you can.

The ideas of socialism are doomed to fail, and they'll take the Democrat party with them. We just need to hasten the process along. Winning the battle of ideas is how we will save our nation.

I concur, Jim, and sent this letter to 75 U.S. Senators, including your California hacks:

Give Me Liberty, Not National Healthcare

Amen to that. The 10th amendment/state sovereignty movement must be put on steroids.

They are passing a political disaster that is going to destroy them and no one else. The left hates the bill, the right hates the bill, and the middle hates the bill. I cannot believe that Obama and his socialists are that stupid but they are.

I am certain that very few people here agree with what I am saying. In fact stay angry, it is very good, this will ensure that the democrats will be crushed in 2010 and 2012.

They can pass whatever unjust laws they want. I still have my free will and don’t have to obey them. I have no doubt that the majority of americans feel the same way.

The obligation we have is not to the government or to the law, but to our fellow citizens and the constitution.

The Supreme Court is not going to help us. Nobody is. We have no one to look to for help, and on top of that we are leaderless and adrift.

“The constitution has not failed, the people have.”

My wife woke up screaming this AM when she heard Nelson was going to vote “yes” and I have been trying all day to calm her down (unsuccessfully so far) with the following viewpoint:

The constitution contemplates that the people will make stupid mistakes and provides a safety net of layered checks and balances that can allow correction of mistakes.

I don't believe that the safety net that the founders put in place has failed, yet. It is being tested in dangerous ways, but hasn't failed.

Fox News is still on the air, for example, upholding free speech (mostly), covering the people's tea parties and Obama’s falling polls, and Glen Beck has been picking off Obama’s inner circle Marxist Alinski Czars one at a time. Even the MSMs came to Fox's defense when Obama tried to freeze Fox out!

Gun rights have been significantly expanded and validated just this year with the Miller decision with personal arms and ammunition sales at an all time high.

Despite 24/7 attempted brainwashing the majority of people hate everything Obama is doing and are on track to crush the Democrats in 2010 rendering Obama a lame duck. Only a ginned up crisis that could be used to impose martial law would seem to be the remaining way for Obama to fulfill his agenda.

Cap ‘n Tax is dead and the “healthcare” bill has been stripped of its most Marxist features and the people recognize it as a fraudulent imposition on their freedom. Healthcare won't be fully implemented for years so it can be overturned by a Conservative congress and president.

No troll. Just tired of a congress that not only does not represent the people but arrogantly dismisses the wishes of the people they are milking. Why not a Con Con? There are 5 ways, only one of which involves congress. We can never get needed change through the existing structure, so why not go around it? Why not have one by the people. Do you believe that a true majority of taxpayers support the spending crap going on now? Ok, you think I am out of my mind, how do you propose to change it? Elect a whole new congress and under the current system, they would be screwing us just as bad in no time. The system is broken.

They intend on killing us with this Soviet style health care system

That may well be their intent, but we don't have to play along. There is always a second way. Let the liberals suffer for their own gullibility, we can use our ingenuity to slip through the loopholes, innovate new solutions, and avoid their evil plan's intended outcomes.

Other people are already planning ahead - why do you think international hospital entrepreneurs are building new hospitals overseas for American patients to travel to?

Those who produce in this country now seem to be a minority. Those who take from the producers in this country now seem to be the majority.

Politicians have locked in their class privileges and will now be impossible to remove through the voting booth as their promises to take from the producers and give to the non-producers in exchange for their votes will keep them in power. Republican or Democrat, it doesn't matter, as our current crop of politicians are basically the same with very little difference between them.

The true question is, are their enough producers willing to step up and change the direction of this country going forward, and the answer does not look encouraging at this point.

Read this, noob. From Rense.com:

We were blessed in 1787; the Con Con delegates were the leaders of a freedom movement that had just cleansed this land of tyranny.

Today's corrupt politicians and judges would like nothing better than the ability to legally ignore the Constitution - to modify its "problematic" provisions to reflect the philosophical and socials mores of our contemporary society.

The majority of U.S. voters just elected a dedicated leftist as President. Republicans are at their weakest right now! This is a horrible time to try such a crazy scheme. We cannot control the debate right now! Don't for one second doubt that delegates to a Con Con wouldn't revise the 1st Amendment into a government-controlled privilege, replace the 2nd Amendment with a "collective" right to self-defense, and abolish the 4th, 5th, and 10th Amendments, and the rest of the Bill of Rights. Additions could include the non-existent Separation of Church and State, the "right" to abortion and euthanasia, and much, much more.

Our uniquely and purely American concept of individual rights, endowed by our Creator, would be quickly set aside as an anachronistic relic of a bygone era; replaced by new "collective" rights, awarded and enforced by government for the "common good".

The problems our nation faces are not a result of deficiencies in our Constitution; rather, they are the direct result of our disregard for that divinely-inspired document of liberty.

There is no challenge faced by this nation that cannot be solved either by enforcing existing law, or in limited cases, by writing new law. We do not need, AND MUST NOT RISK THE LIBERTY OF THE UNITED STATES with, a Constitutional Convention!

"The ideas of socialism are doomed to fail, and they'll take the Democrat party with them. We just need to hasten the process along. Winning the battle of ideas is how we will save our nation."

They can't spend what they don't have. Let's deliver our taxes IN PERSON on April 15th...or our tax notices...or our tax refusals...whatever we individually think best...but let's do it in person and let them know that we CAN and WILL show up with some very determined folks if they they think they can stage a Coup in our country.

To make sure they get there on time, we can set a delivery time of April 1 through 15 to send in as many people as can get there and dump a few MILLION of us on the streets and in the halls...the buildings streets and sidewalks ARE ours, are they not?

The west can go in from the 1-5th, the South from the 5 - 10th, Midwest 10th to 13 and the East 13-15, with a FREE SKATE on the 15th and stay as long as we can.

DC is surrounded by farmlands and campgrounds, parks and open spaces that are easy to access and easy commutes...if they shut down public conveyance, we can walk or wheel...let them know we are coming and watch what happens to this "bill" if it gets passed...it'll die...

And then...on to the 2010 elections with a massive demonstration under our belts and still ringing in their ears.

That’s what they thought in Indonesia. That’s what Allende thought.

You are on the right track. That's what it really boils down to. We (Americans) adapt and overcome. There have been worst times for this nation - I even have living relatives that remember them -  and we're still here. When it comes down to it, we'll help each other out in spite of any government. Everyone's experience may vary according to where they live, but some way, some how, we're going to have civilization, no matter what those totalitarian loons attempt to declare upon us.
