10 AM Rules Committee meeting (C-span2 LIVE all day)
11 AM Stupak press conference
12 PM Demonstration at the Capitol
3 PM Obama meets with the Democratic caucus
Sunday
2 p.m.: The House will debate for one hour the rules of debate for the reconciliation bill and the Senate bill.
3 p.m.: The House will vote to end debate and vote on the rules of the debate.
3:15 p.m.: The House will debate the reconciliation package for two hours.
5:15 p.m.: The House will vote on the reconciliation package.
5:30 p.m.: The House will debate for 15 minutes on a Republican substitute and then vote on the substitute.
6 p.m.: The House will vote on the final reconciliation package.
6:15 p.m.: If the reconciliation bill passes, the House will immediately vote on the Senate bill, without debate.

I thought those who voted for 0 would realize it in time, and regret it. They haven’t. I don’t think they will figure this out either. Ignorance seems to last forever in some. Put the blame elsewhere... 0 can do nothing wrong.

Agree . . . however, I suspect He’s going to . . . wait a bit longer for the more dramatic demonstrations on His part.
I suspect He’s going to allow a lot of “Americans” to experience what it can really mean to have made their bed and lie in it.

BTW, during the questions on C-SPAN, the anchor seems to be giving tremendous favor to the ones who support the legislation. She tends to cut off and/or interrupt those who oppose the bill.

Which is fine, and tell the RNC you did that too because you did not want to muck around. However there are differences in what you can donate to whom. And too many folks are showing RDS (Republican Derangement Syndrome).
We WILL have elections. Stop panicking. We knew this was going to happen as soon as Obama got elected. There was no way the Republicans could stop it. Even had Coleman won in MN, one of the Maine sisters would have flipped. Now, do we roll over like the Eurorats and let them effect socialized medicine completely on us (which this isn’t yet) - or do we continue to fight like hell? This is not the public option - nor does it directly lead to it. Considerable work wil lhave to be done to get to that point from where we are today. Does it suck ass? Sure does. And it will certainly cost jobs and increase the size of the Beast. When people reealize that they still don’t have coverage yet are paying for it - then we’ll see how it goes. November is far off. Immigration reform is not supported by all the Dems in the Senate and will be filibustered. Cap and Tax died in the Senate. Reconciliation won’t work since the only bill came from the House and is DOA in the Senate. The GOP Senators now need to block the recon package from getting to Obama. That is quite doable. We need to make sure we have strong candidates against every Rat. Including those from so-called safe districts. 80% of the people were against this and after the taxes kick in - that will soar above 90%. Pelosi’s days are numbered. Reid’s days are numbered. And so are Obama’s. Capture both Houses in November - get the White House and 60 votes in the Senate and prosecute the vote-sellers.

As much distaste as I had doing it, I voted for McCain. And should he have won, there is no way we’d be looking at this socialist healthcare today.
We need conservative challengers in primaries. And from our candidate farm systems. And that will take time.
