Point is, that Green will probably be less noticeable on the white. Example; there is a bunch of Green haze around the trees in that pic. It’s just not as noticeable.
Colors affect each other similarly regardless of medium.

Jackson “hated” the Indians so much that he adopted one as his own son. Of course the Trail of Tears certainly was not a highpoint, but I still think the greatness of Jackson is that he created the Manifest Destiny that led to us taking as much as we could of North America. Polk idolized Jackson and extended on what Jackson had begun, which includes kicking the crap out of Mexico and taking the American Southwest.
