Emanuel's Mayoral Bid Challenged
The Chicago Sun Times ^ | November 27, 2010 | Lisa Donovan and Abdon Pallasch

State law requires mayoral candidates to be city residents for a year before an election, he said. The only exception is for active-duty members of the military.

“Emanuel was not a resident under the state statutes for one year prior to the election — the election being Feb. 22 [of next year]. He would have had to have had a residence since Feb. 22 of 2010,” Odelson said while delivering the challenge Friday.

Emanuel moved his family to Washington D.C. — and rented out his house — while he served in the White House the past two years.

Fifteen separate objections have been filed challenging Rahm Emanuel's legal standing to run for Mayor of Chicago based upon his failure to maintain a legal voting residence in the city during the past year.

Do not fear, the Rats will change the rules just like they have in every instance where the rules got into the way before. New Jersey and New York ring a bell just for starters?

So just pay off a judge to pronounce him legal to run and be done with it! Shouldn’t really cost him all that much money...

I'd love to see him kicked out on his a** for trying to skirt the system. And what would Obama do....hire him back??

This could be fun.

Emanuel filed objections to his previous opponents when he was a Congressional candidate. One individual began collecting petition signatures too early, so Emanuel objected to his nomination papers.

What goes around, comes around.

There is something not right with his left hand and fingers aside from looking like he never worked a day in his life.

I’m not sure this is going to work out for Rahm. He was not as obsequious toward Obama as a malignant narcissist requires, Plus, if Obama is feeling paranoid and or especially spiteful, Rahm’s departure could be seen as a betrayal.

One of the truly nasty (yet favorite) tricks of a malignant narcissist is to feign friendliness toward a former member of the inner circle while secretly backstabbing him. I wouldn’t be surprised if Obama has turned on Rahm, and the latter will be the last to know.

Looks like his middle finger got the flesh sliced off and reattached. His finger probably slipped while using the jig.

Well, it gets Obama off the hook. He can support the “black” candidate and not have to look bad for betraying his friends.

I live about five miles north of Chicago, and I agree that Rahm shouldn’t be able to run.

Who is the best candidate, in that race? I support Fred White. He’s pro-tax cuts, pro-spending cuts, pro-gun, and anti-illegal alien. His site is www.fredrick-k-white.com.

Let's see, who does this remind me of? Hint: his intials are BC. I almost puked when I heard President Bush (W) say that he likes Bill Clinton, that he has a good soul. Keep believing that, W - Clinton will steal yours.

Nothing like a little crisis not going to waste for the ballerina boy blunder. Seems weird to have the wonderful city of Chicago involved in this rare controversy for them. (;
