Agenda 21 - What Is It? Apparently is is a plan to reduce the population
Vanity | Various

Posted on 06/22/2011 12:44:33 PM PDT by TEXOKIE

Several people have become interested in a quite controversial topic called "AGENDA 21." They have requested being on a ping list for this topic.

While I do not have time to do a thorough treatment of this subject, nor am I in any way an expert, I am willing at least for a time,to ping people as I run across articles which might pertain to this concern.

It might be good to start with an examination of just what it is or might be.

To kick this discussion and exploration off,I did a Google search (just for fun) on "Agenda 21." There were a number of YouTube clips and various blogger links which surfaced in answer to the query.

The bottom line of this Agenda appears to be the plot, plan, and preparation of some very evil people (ie the UN and others) to reduce the population so that the Power Elite can control the people more easily.

Here are some of the links:

NASA analysts say there is no chance the space rock will strike Earth. Nevertheless, the encounter is so close that Earth’s gravity will sharply alter the asteroid’s trajectory:

To WVNan (and all)
I agree that repealing the 17th amendment would go a long way to restoring our Federal structure. The states as interested bodies themselves right now actually do not have representation. I think getting out of the UN would also go a long way to helping out the cause of freedom!

I share your concern and prayers that we can hold on to our Constitutional structures long enough to wrest the levers of power from the internal enemies to freedom which have plagued us for at least the last 100 years.

I keep holding to the promise granted to Abraham when he learned that God had planned to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah: that for the sake of the 10 Righteous He would not destroy the city. To me that indicates that God has a Plan, but is sometimes willing to modify it if we ask Him to - especially if the modification would come from a petition asking for mercy.

It is hard for me to think that God would not hear our intercessory prayers for our nation. With the massive action of the Tea Party, and the 2010 elections with the People demonstrating that they love the Constitution which God gave us through our Founders, how could he give to us, His children, a stone, when we are asking for bread? He is our beloved Father and WILL take care of His own! But we do have a part to play!

There is a two front battle: Spiritual and Outer

IMHO the first battle is truly in being awake and before our altars in order for this victory for freedom to be restored can take place. The spiritual war must be fought in order for the outer political war to retake the country could be effective.

For example, there was a massive public call for prayers before the 1944 Invasion of Normandy. There was certainly much blood spilled in that war, but the Victory was achieved, and the outcome was not a foregone conclusion...at least to the perception of those living it. Both fronts were important. They ALWAYS are!

That is why I have been so interested in this Agenda 21 topic. No one wants to think that there is such evil existing that actually does want to destroy life as God created it on such a massive scale. I have realized in our studies the past few days that it is my calling to take this information and to pray specific prayers with this knowlege as a foundation in order to petition the Lord. I know that many who participate on this thread have a similar calling, and for that I am supremely grateful. We truly are not alone.

WVNan, you mentioned the 17th amendment. I also think that several of the amendments, especially the Wilson era amendments bear rethinking, particularly the one enabling the income tax (16th). It has become the means for the government to get so big and out of control.

I found a good link to the post-bill of Rights amendments. I was glad to study them again and remind myself of how careful we do need to be when we amend the Constitution. The Founders were so wise to give us the means to change...and change back if need be, as evidenced by the 18th (Prohibition).

So, for your viewing pleasure on this beautiful Sunday, I post here that link and the document. Thanks again to all participants including lurkers!:

While I applaud what you are doing, the posts you have been putting up are like kindergarten to me. Not that I mind kindergarten mind you , but I don't need to be sitting in the classroom all the time. You seem to me to be stuck in learning about the threat and warning others of what you find. While that is valuable, I don't need it. I've been working on the systemic counter-strategies to Agenda 21 for over ten years and it doesn't seem to me that you have adsorbed what I've offered.

Hence, please remove me from this ping list. Thank you.
