If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen

You are simply the best.
Thank you for these loving, joyous pictures of a truly remarkable and very loved little one.
I love the first picture, of Logan tucked under his mommy's chin, sleeping so happily close to the heart he knows so well.
I love the miracle God has provided for all of us, but especially for Beth, hubby and grammy and family, who so welcomed and who so lovingly tend to the little one.
To look back at his birth weight, to compare Logan and his 'puppy' ( size wise ) from the begining to now...is just amazing. The 'puppy', to me, is THE marker, and I hope Logan falls in love with this furry fellow, that this little stuffed animal is a part of his life, forever.
As always, thanks for the update, and I will be in attendence on Mosby's prayer thread for our FR family and request that my screen name be placed onto your ping list there.
I love you in Christ, TC, and counting the days until Brad's Gramma is on that plane heading to meet Logan, up close and personal.

Thanks for the update and pictures of our beautiful miracle baby Logan.

"I was a Pyloric Stenosus kid..."
You have my utmost respect, that is a rough way to start out. My brother James was too, he was in one of the finest children's hospitals in the Midwest. They operated on him when he was 11 weeks old, he did not survive and died the day after surgery. God bless.

Thanks for the Logan updates, TC ~ Good job ~ Good man!

"he did not survive and died the day after surgery." In the Texas Children's Hospital in Houston they had a huge curtain they closed when one of "our" babies died.
All of the parents sat outside on chairs and couches looking through the big glass window at our babies because they wouldn't let us into that sterile environment.
When we saw the curtains being drawn the tears began to flow.
We held each other's hands hoping against hope that our baby wasn't the one who died.
When the curtains opened and we could see which isolette was empty, we shared the grief with the parents at the same time thanking God that it wasn't our's.
Every day was the same - living in fear that this would be the last day of our baby's life.
No one can know the misery of living like that day after day unless they've been there, searching each day for some positive sign that the baby was getting better, and dreading the signs that they were going downhill.
When I heard about little Logan, God directed me to go see him.
I knew the heartbreak I might witness and be a part of, but I had to be there.
I understand the magnitude of the miracle God performed with Logan, and I thank Him every day for His love.
I'm so very sorry about your brother.
I know the sorrow.

Thank you, dear one, for that loving post.
I have no doubt that the puppy will be with Logan for the rest of his life.
My son is forty now, and he still has a corner of his "inkie" that he used to soothe himself when he was Logan's size.
When he was a toddler he never liked to have it washed.
He stood beside the washer to make sure it didn't drown.
I suspect that Logan will be the same way about his puppy.
God has wrought a wondrous miracle with this little baby.
We're so blessed to be a part of it.
Love in Christ, dear one.

Thank you so much for the update and for the new thread!
I thank my God upon every remembrance of you Philippians 1:3

Even with the new prayer room, we don't want to leave Logan! I get a kick out of seeing him grow and knowing that he's a miracle baby.

LOL!
No, dear lady, there's no way I could ever leave Logan!
He's my inspiration to live a better life and walk closer to God.
The new thread is an extension of the Logan miracle in the hope that others might have the blessings we have received.
I'll still post the updates here and all the pictures his Nana will let me have. I can't get enough of those!
God bless you for being here.

Looking Good Termite. Or should I call you Rolly Polly now.
Thanks MOsby for organizing the prayer requests as it does get confusing with the ever growing list.
There is so many Loving, Good folks here at FR that the prayer warrior mode is sooo beneficial to all invovled. God Bless

Thank you for that story Texas Cowboy.
Please give the little Texas Termite a kiss or a hug for me the next time you see him. He is a precious little one.
They wouldn't let my parents hold my brother or touch him at all in his short life because of the sterile environment.
I am grateful that things have improved enough for the sake of Logan and his parents that they didn't have to go through that.

Oh you two...I'm so sorry, so very very sorry.

My night is not complete without coming to this thread and learning of Logan's progress! What a little cutie (well, getting to be a big cutie)! Many of y'all probably remember my friend's granddaughter, Sara Grace, who also was a preemie (from another thread). She also continues to grow and do great! She is up to 7 pounds 15 ounces. I'm supposed to see her this weekend, and I promise I'll try to get some pictures. She and Logan need to meet someday!
I come here tonight for another reason. Since I know this must be the largest and most powerful group of prayer warriors on the net....I humbly request your prayers for my 27-year-old son, Judd. Since he's my son, of course I think he's pretty special. :-) Really....he is! He is a wonderful Christian and has accomplished a lot despite having to deal with a seizure disorder he developed at age 17. He is pretty well controlled with that. He has obtained a Master's degree in Anthropology, has a couple of books in the works...and is teaching high school. A lot for his young years. Oh, and he got married this past August to a wonderful girl!!
He has now been diagnosed with hypertension. I think 27 seems pretty young for that, but there is a strong family history. He saw a cardiologist yesterday who put him on blood pressure medicine and scheduled him for a stress test this next Tuesday. Please pray for his health.
Thank you all so much!
OK Doggie, this is the plan. You distract these other animals, I'll crawl out of the crib and head for the kitchen where the food is. When you've got them distracted, JUMP FOR ALL YOU'RE WORTH!
I'll meet you down the hall, OK? We can do it. I can get some of that yummy cereal and milk and you can get some doggie bones.
Ready? Set? GO!!!!!!
To: TejasRose; M0sby
Whoo RAH FOR SARAH GRACE!!! We sure DO remember her!!!
And Judd, oh my goodness....yes, you're going to have one strong group of prayer warriors standing by your side. God's taken him (and YOU!) through a lot already...trust Him again.
Are you familiar with the new thread called Logan's Miracle Room? I pinged M0sby to this prayer request of yours and she'll put Judd over there, too.

Thanks, BG....as you know, just because our babies grow up doesn't mean we quit worrying about them! :-) I praise the Lord that He cares for us and hears our prayers!
