Heavenly Father, on this day that we have lifted up as our day of worship in honor of the Rising of Your Son from the dead, help us to begin anew. Father, sometimes it is hard, especially for me to lean upon You and not my own understanding. But You were around from the beginning, You are all powerful, You created us, no problem is too great for You. Lord, let me be strong enough to turn it all over to You, because in our weakness You are strong. We lift these requests to You, Lord, knowing that You can handle it all. I thank You for giving us not only a place to come to post them but also Your everlasting promise that You do hear all. Forgive me of my sins and let me go forth from this day and every day following Your Will as You would guide me. In Christ's Holy Name I pray. Amen

Billbears, could you please post this thread to the daily prayer list? WINGS and a Prayer... we're looking for Prayer Warriors on Free Republic to adopt and pray for Soldiers throughout this war. I believe that we really can make a difference for our soldiers - this may be a difficult thread because we expect that some of our Prayer Buddy Soldiers will be killed during this war, but we that makes our prayers more important than ever. I've partnered the page with "Adopt a Soldier" and I told her that Freepers could rise to the need. OUR SOLDIERS NEED OUR PRAYERS!

Update: Sarah has been re-admitted to the hospital for another severe kidney infection...seems the last batch of antibiotics didn't get rid of all the bacteria. She is in a tremendous amount of pain, and I'm worried because they keep fooling with her IV antibiotics. Wish these guys would settle on a course of action! Please continue to pray for her healing. Thank you!
