TV and newspapers CANNOT ignore powerful images.Since theirs is a VISUAL media, they are drawn irresistably to interesting pictures, in spite of the liberal bias.
This Sacramento Bee image is on the heels of our success with the AP wire service over the weekend:

Asian group to hold candidate forum
Sacramento Bee
A star-studded lineup of 21 political candidates, including Republican gubernatorial hopeful Bill Simon, will get a chance to offer their prescriptions for a better California on Sept. 22.
Published 2:15 a.m. PDT Saturday, September 14, 2002
The nonpartisan Asian Pacific Islander American Political Association of Sacramento is hosting a free forum at the Sheraton Grand Hotel from 1 to 6 p.m., with the question-and-answer session beginning at 2 p.m.
Each candidate will get about six minutes to answer questions prepared by a bipartisan panel, said APAPA spokesman Paul Manansala. Simon and 20 other politicians have confirmed, said Manansala, who's still hoping to get Gov. Gray Davis....-- snip --
...In 1992, only 3 percent of California voters were Asian American, Manansala said, but that figure has since doubled.
"It's a swing vote," he said. "The governor's race is getting tighter all the time."
The forum, which is also being sponsored by the Asian Pacific American Coalition of Solano County, has room for 1,000 people. Seats can be reserved online at www.apapa.org, Manansala said.more
Is that a Dump Davis on the back of the suit of the gentlemen seated?LOL!
It is. He should have worn it a little HIGHER on his back, though! ;-)

The trash was picked up at 7:30 AM, in my neighborhood.
And, for rest of the day, my beautiful blue trash can shall sit at the curb!I figure that at least a hundred cars will have to see that bright red "DUMP DAVIS" bumper sticker before sun down.
The can and the sticker, they just seem to go together.Anyone else out there have a bumper sticker story/suggestion?
