Whenever I see anyone post that, I get curious. Just who is your Republican representative or senator that you are not voting for? I kinda like my Republican rep (Radanovich) and would like to keep him, but I'd give just about anything to have Republican senators. I'd even take a hated RINO over Boxer or Feinstein.

Look, just because people disagree with you doesn't mean that there is a conspiracy with "infiltrators", "disruptors", and (my personal favorite) "sleepers".

It doesn't **mean** there isn't either. I'd say it's rather naive of you to think there aren't people who's very presence on a given forum aren't there to sway people's minds and to cause disruption. You know as well as I do that a lot of FReepers go to DU to do just that. Or, maybe you don't.

In regard to Snowe/Chaffee/Collins/Graham. If we lose those seats, we lose control. As much as I want to send them packing, I wonder if the message we want to send would be clear (ie. we want you to be MORE conservative not less) not to mention my deep suspicion as to our ability to elect anyone more conservative. In some of those cases, I think we are really lucky to just have a seat in our column.

Chafee is targetted, not the others. And you'll notice it isn't the GOP or even FR that's after him. At any rate, if control of the Senate revolves around keeping Chafee as a faux-Republican, it's a lost cause anyway. Mostly because in an near-even Senate split, just like Jeffords, Chafee will eventually go independent or sell out to the Dims anyway since he votes with them all the time anyway.

Chafee is almost to the left of Kennedy. And he's unpopular. And weird. If ever there is a RINO to make an example of, he's it.

If we want Snowe and Collins and Graham to toe the line on conservative votes, we have to get Chafee this year so they know we mean business.

What to do with the various city authorities who want the illegals in their midst. Or should I say in our midst, since they don't have to live with the problem. Their children are in private schools and they live in safe neighborhoods.

Cut their federal funding. I think they would see the light.
