Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?
vanity | April 21, 2007 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 04/21/2007 6:42:25 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.

One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to “rule” over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.

All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.

FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?

Do you really expect me to do that?

And you Rudy haters bring up his divorce and his stance on guns, but you forget that Ronald Reagan was divorced (and wasn't Nancy preggers when they got married?) and he supported the Brady Bill.

In other words, nobody's perfect. Not even Ronald Reagan.

So why is Thompson’s cancer pertinent, and Rudy’s cancer not? Rudy bailed in mid race against Hillary and handed her a senate seat.

Which part of no symptoms, in remission, no current treatment do you not understand?

It's pertinent because, as I said earlier, he has cancer NOW, and a campaign might not be doable with all that having cancer entails. I am completely consistent here. Rudy HAD cancer, but Fred HAS cancer. Two completely different concepts, hence the different tenses.

Capisce?

...privately ask JR to re-instate people you think are an asset.

Don't ever do that. Jim will 1) Ignore the request, and 2) zot you for asking.

RONALD REAGAN DID NOT FILE FOR DIVORCE. HE DID NOT WANT TO BE DIVORCED. HE DID NOT COMMIT ADULTERY....REPEATEDLY, IN A VERY PUBLIC MANNER.

You don’t see a difference between a divorce and serial adultery? Rudy moved his girlfriend into the same home where his children lived, or attempted to.

You are so right Nana. I have been praying daily for a uncompromising man of God to come to the forefront.

This forum looks like a battle between the SBC and CBF. Baptists will know what I mean.

Personally, I would like to see a day come where a pregnancy can be removed from a female who does not wish to remain pregnant without ending the pregnancy itself.

Can you please explain to me how "a pregnancy can be removed from a female" "without ending the pregnancy itself"? I'm trying to figure out how a mother can be both pregnant and not pregnant at the same time. You terminated your mother's pregnancy - by being born. So what are you talking about? Was your mother's pregnancy "removed" from her "without ending her pregnancy?

You repeat mindless euphemisms and slogans, even to the point of making literally nonsense statements. Why?

You don't want to call a baby a baby. You call a preborn baby a "pregnancy", which from the baby's point of view, is an absurdity.

If you have to dress something up to cover up the truth of what's happening, it's probably a good idea to assume that there's something wrong with it.

Cordially,

Is that you, Peach?

I don’t recall the Gipper dressing in drag? I don’t recall the Gipper chasing around on anybody while he was in private life.

But this is the point we make about you folks. You are defending an indefensible candidate, so you take your slime and throw it at the memory of Ronald Reagan, one of our greatest presidents, and a beloved figure on this board.

You win no one to Rudy with that approach and Mr. Robinson has condemned those who trash the Gipper to build up Rudy. All you are doing is stoking our fire. There is no condition, under any circumstance, that I would vote for that man. I will take a hike, go third party, or whatever. All you are doing in attacking the greatest conservative president, is making those who oppose Rudy very very angry.
