Origins of Syphilis [It was waiting for Columbus and his crew~~~NEW WORLD]
Archaeology.org ^ | January/February 1997 | Mark Rose

snip...

Syphilis, it seems, developed in the New World from yaws, perhaps 1,600 years ago, and was waiting for Columbus and his crew. The Rothschilds are now examining skeletal collections from the Bahamas to look for evidence of syphilis nearer to Columbus' landfall.

"how dare PBS and Ken Burns put mostly lies on that public station"

That's what PBS is for.

OK...you’re talking about a completely different time period than when Columbus came to the new world...

>>I’m sure thats true but didn’t the French bring crotch crickets over?<<

I’ve read the Brits called it the French Pox while the French called it the English disease.

‘If I remember correctly tobacco is a native american plant.

How many thousands, if not millions of people have been adversely affected if not killed by tobacco products through out the world since 1492?

If whitey, cracker man gave to world tobacco they would be called mass murders”

Well said, and a billion more people died from tobacco than from the so called “infected smallpox blankets”.

The death rate on the east coast was comparable. In some cases it was more than 90%.

The term “savage” is derived from the Spanish “salvaje” meaning “one who needs salvation.”

Syphilis and Neanderthal Man

D. J. M. WRIGHT

Department of Venereology, Guy’s Hospital Medical School, London SE1

BONE changes in Neanderthal remains which, it has been suggested1, might be caused by rickets are not unlike those seen in certain treponemal diseases, notably congenital syphilis. Examining the Neanderthal collection at the British Museum (Natural History), I noted several features compatible with treponemal disease.

At least the Spaniards left large Indian populations behind, and attempted to assimilate those of racially mixed background. The same can't be said of those faggoty British hypocrites, who basically eliminated the indigenous populations everywhere they went and refuse to recognize their illegitimate offspring.

Hypocrisy, thy name is ENGLISH.

“Al Capone died from it in prison.”

Close. But not quite.
IIRC, one of The History Channel shows said he got out early on a
“compassionate”release as he was going mad.
But the Wikipedia (yeah, I know, verify before trusting!) makes it
sound like he got out early (six-and-a-half of an 11-year term)
based on good behaviour.

(excerpt)
...his health declined as his syphilis (contracted as a youth) progressed,
and he spent the last year of his sentence in the prison hospital,
confused and disoriented.[7] Capone completed his term in Alcatraz on
January 6, 1939, and was transferred to the Federal Correctional
Institution at Terminal Island in California, to serve his one-year
misdemeanor sentence. He was released on November 16, 1939, spent a
short time in a hospital, then returned to his home in Palm Island, Florida.

True. In California, it was Spanish policy for soldiers to intermarry with the Indians as a means of bringing them into the Spanish Empire.

Unfortunately, diseases were the primary cause of death at the California missions -- diseases for which the Indians had little resistance in the first generation or two.

By the end of the mission era (1834), the death rate had reached about 90% in most mission areas.

yeah, I know it’s from PBS, but “Secrets

Same happened in the Carribbean, where the Tainos and Arawaks were powerless in the face of disease, mostly smallpox.

Nah, just sick of the LIES that English historians have pushed on America over the years.

Ask any Italian, Spaniard, Dutch, or Pole, to say nothing of the East Indians: the English preach enlightenment, yet practice hypocrisy. ;-)

You sound just like my grandfather who fought with the IRA in the 1916 uprising. He died in 1960 but I thought he had been reincarnated when I read your comment.

LOL.

Clarification: I by no means, want to belittle the average Englishman, nor the achievements and contributions by the English over the centuries. I will forever take issue, however, with the continued propagation of lies and distortions among British historians and commentators over the years, while glossing over the atrocities committed by their own government abroad.
