Blogger admits Hawaii birth certificate forgery, subverting Obama claims (Uh-oh)

Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.

The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.

The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.

Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.

McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

Your age estimate could put her at circa 55 and satisfy that speculation.

The group photo was taken somewhere between 1959 and 1962. 1962 was 46 years ago, so in order for the woman in the picture to be 55 today, she would have had to be nine years old in the photo.

Am I missing something?

If she is around 55, that would fit into your stated timeline.

Through my various surfing on other websites I had found that picture only once and it was labelled as a party held for Senior after graduating from the University of Hawaii before his departure for Harvard. At that time Stanley Ann was either still in Washington or on her way back to Hawaii. The date for the picture is labelled as 1962 when Senior graduated NOT 1963 as some have reported!

I thought the Divorce Record info interesting since Lolo Soetoro supposedly died in 1987 yet the proceeding was not terminated until 1988 per this record. Maybe they were never officially divorced?

just thinking out aloud here...if the divorce was not finalized before Soetoro died, obama's mother would have been his widow, probably entitled to his estate. Might explain why she remained in Indonesia, wrote a book...didn't have to support herself, and had enough funds to travel to Pakistan.

Two responses come to mind.

1. My analysis is not questioning the authentication of the COLB. My analysis is answering the question "has it been modified". (There is a difference between "real" and "authentic".) To this regard, there is no evidence of modification. Moreover, I believe I have debunked a fictional analysis that claims to have shown modification.

2. As far as the political aspect goes, yes and no... Yes: someone must and will (and probably has) validated his eligibility. No: that someone does not need to be you. While we should trust that someone in our government will do the right thing, there are levels upon levels of oversight committees designed to make sure they do the right thing. If you wish to be on the list of presidential eligibility reviewers, then I suggest joining one of the appropriate oversight committees.

Presidential candidates are vetted by "appropriate oversight committees". The [omitted] portion we can only guess at, but it would be likely to have involved calling his imagined opponents names and slurs such as "rascist".

Just to follow on to the last post. Neither Doctor Krawetz nor AJStrata have done any significant image analysis on the CoLB image. Both have used a number of unchecked presumptions to carry the logical bulk of their argument, still the bulk of their arguments remains emotional appeals of various sorts.

Something driving me nuts right now is I KNOW I have seen references that Lolo remarried and had additional children after the split with Stanley Ann.

I suppose since the divorce from Stanley Ann is filed in Hawaii he could have remarried in Indonesia and none would be the wiser.

I’ve been trying to find that reference again but no luck so far. I will keep trying though.

If he was born 1961, why would he only hold citizenship at 1963? If he was born there, he would be a citizen upon birth. ‘If’ he was born in Hawaii/Canada/Seattle and Kenya just ‘registered’ the birth, then that would still be for 1961, right?
