- Colonies were not called ‘dominions’. Dominion (Canada, Australia etc..) was a term used for semi-independent countries with QE2 as head of state. Kenya was a colony until Dec 1963. During the Dec 1963 to Dec 1964 transition to republic QE2 was head of state represented by a Governor General (Malcolm John MacDonald).

- the Kenyan coat of arms at the top of the page was adopted in Oct 1963 so it just shows that the real-or-fake document was created after that date - doesn’t prove/disprove anything one way or the other

That's a rather petty thing to get excited about. In the 196Os, as this was not entered on a computer with its field-level validation, it would not have mattered particularly if the typist entered O or 0. I work on computers all the time and frequently enter O in place of 0 (but in my case I have to correct it).

I'm more concerned about the names of the Registrar officials, determining whether "Republic" was in use in early 1964. One thing that could answer many of these questions is a scan of a birth certificate or four from (a) Kenyan(s) born after December 1963 and before December 1964. Man, that would answer a lot of questions!

Never gonna happen. However, I have said since January of this year that BHO would never finish out his term and that he would be voluntarily exiting the White House. I still believe that if this story really has legs, Biden will do an Agnew and depart so that a “qualified” replacement for Barry can be appointed. Then the skids will be greased for Dear Teleprompters exit.

Another thing that makes me believe that the birth certificate is real, is that before the 70’s or 80’s, and expecially in undeveloped rat holes like Kenya, they used a high rag content paper for official documents. When this paper aged it would get vertical lines or wrinkles. This BC seems to fit the bill.
