Some posters who have tracked the time line of the Obama's divorce have posted data that indicates that this document was indeed produced just prior to that.

State of Hawaii had at the time four different Birth Certificate Forms each with a deferent application and its the B-3 or B-4 Hawaii birth certificate forms were used because his grand parents applied and filled out the forms

I mentioned earlier the fold lines which make it look as if it was once stuffed into an envelope. That little tear along the fold line is typical of aging documents. Now if some forensic team could obtain the authentic copy and date the paper to circa 1964, this thing will have traction.

I also previously wrote, there can not be a reason for forging a document in 1964 for a three year old kid.

RE flight schedules, why a flight from London? Besides the boat option, why not fly from Hawai’i around the other way, changing planes at other friendly places? [not sure of the max. long-haul flights at the time.]

I'm not finding many options to fly out of that area in 1961. What I've found so far is BOAC and East African Airways serving that area, and both had London - Nairobi flights. According to this, the farthest east they went at that time was Bombay.

When I look on expedia for Honolulu-Nairobi flights, the stops are all in Europe - Amsterdam, London, etc.

As for ships, I doubt there would have been any direct service from Hawaii to Nairobi. The closest I can find is 15 days from Honolulu to Manila, on a luxury liner that would have been new in 1962.

If you have a blank form you can turn into a credible birth record for the POTUS, you don’t screw it up by making an obvious and very avoidable historical error.

You presume a level of competence that the forger may not have had. This might be a hastily created $1,000 forgery, not a $1 million forgery. Or it might be legitimate.

If someone were trying to set himself up in the Obama birth document business, and he had no real forgery skills, but he somehow managed to acquire a blank, valid Kenyan birth registry form from say 1966, he might be tempted to try to pass it off as a 1964 form, hoping that the "Republic of Kenya" reference on the blank form would not raise a red flag. All he would need besides that form was publicly available information about Obama's birth, an old typewriter, a way to avoid being identified, and a chump to buy the product.
