If healthcare passes the socialist coup d'etat has advanced beyond the point of no return!
Dec 19, 2009 | Jim Robinson

Let's face it FRiends, if the unconstitutional healthcare bill passes, the socialist coup d'etat will have advanced well beyond the point of no return!

There is nothing in the constitution that authorizes this illegal federal power-grab and plenty that forbids it. If the Obama/Reid/Pelosi Marxist attempted coup pulls this off without the people resisting to the hilt, then they'll have no restrictions whatsoever on implementing the rest of their Liberty killing Marxist agenda. America will be no more.

The whole idea of our constitution is to severely restrict the federal government to only its dozen and a half expressly listed enumerated powers and to guarantee and protect our unalienable individual rights as well as our sovereign states rights and republican form of government.

The constitution has not failed, the people have. When the government will not willingly restrain itself within its legal bounds, then its the duty of the people to enforce the constitution and restrain the government.

The constitution does not define our rights, it defines the limits on government. Our rights are granted by God not government, and government cannot take them away. Our government was established by and for us and was granted by us certain limited powers and only those limited powers. Our government serves at our pleasure to defend our nation and our rights. It does not RULE over us.

Obama is not a dictator. Reid, Pelosi, et al, are not our rulers. When they overstep their bounds to the degree they have, then they MUST be brought back down to reality.

It's time to jerk their constitutional chains taut!

It's time for US to enforce our Constitution and invoke our Bill of Rights!!

It's time to assemble for duty, for Liberty!!

What planet did you say you are from?

The last time I looked, people like yourself number about 1 in every thousand. The rest are completely living paycheck to paycheck, own a government sanctioned mortgage, buy their food with credit cards on credit and don’ even own the clothes on their back. They are the majority and are as easy as sheep to control.

***Public Option Please Art Contest Winners*** - Check out the 1st place winning entry. Not a Thomas Jefferson quote. The quote on the poster is actually the work of Henry St. John Bolingbroke, Viscount. From Bolingbroke’s essay “The Idea of a Patriot King,” which was written in 1738. Liberty is to the collective body, what health is to every individual body. Without health no pleasure can be tasted by man: without liberty no happiness can be enjoyed by society.”

They havn’t short circuited anything. The free market is triving in the U.S. I don’t claim it I live it and have been living it for years. You over estimate these idiots to defeat us in an economic sense. You would rather us fall to our knees and work in the rice paddies for a grain of rice per day they will give us?

Have they been able to stop drug smuggling or smuggling of any goods? get a clue.

Secondly, I think one thing we are not taking into account is that the election process was heavily compromised.

The extreme left is spamming our ballot boxes. Millions of bogus absentees make it through the system every election. There's not enough people to check them all. Democrats who are registered to vote - but never do - get their votes cast for them, and they have no idea it's being done. Dead people, multiple ballots in multiple states, fictitious characters, etc. The talliers can't possibly catch them all, and those that are caught are still counted because of "disenfranchisement" propaganda......

"The end justifies the means."

Get a clue. You don't have a clue about how the world works or how the economy works. It amazes me how little government educated people know about economics. Are you 14 or are people that uneducated about economics or have you taken your meds. wow. what ?

The resistance needs to begin in the state capitols. The next Gubernatorial campaign needs to be centered upon support for the invocation of the 10th amendment with regard to the new national health care scheme.

Supreme Court decisions have given the states the right to regulate insurance business. Federal regulation of the insurance business would seem to contradict that settled law. Additionally, mandates like Medicaid are paid by the state, with federal money subsidizing. If the state is willing to go it alone on the Medicaid payments, the Federal Government loses all say so on the administration of those programs.

Each state will have a chance to opt out of this program, just the same as they had the chance to opt out of social security. Look at Galveston, TX and where their retirement system stands now compared to social security. It is purely a matter of whether or not the state will take its mouth off of the Federal tit.

Secondly, although I agree that a Constitutional Convention TODAY would be a bad idea, I do believe that a promise to either call one, or propose and pass a series of Amendments in the next congress would be an excellent campaign issue. Ideas for amendments would include:

1. Explicit reiteration of state sovereignty to include the right to opt out of specific Federal mandates whether funded or unfunded.

2. Reservation of the rights of states to determine their own abortion laws.

3. Requirement that the Federal Government produce a balanced budget with the exception of times of Declared War or National Emergency.

4. Requirement that Treaties be approved by two thirds of state legislatures.

5. Declaration that the sovereignty of the United States shall not be subordinated to any international body or government.

6. Requirement that all persons running for the office of President, Vice-President, or any office in the line of succession must be held by a proven Natural Born Citizen, and that qualification must be proven prior to the applicable election or appointment.

7. 10 year terms for all Federal Court Appointees. Additional terms require re-appointment and re-confirmation.

I am sure there are other good ideas, but the constitution definitely needs some more explicit language to prevent liberal perversions of the penumbra.

I'll just give you and freepers one way to make money on the internet . you create web sites create for free and other sites pay you to advertise on your site, to put your banners or ads on your site etc.

Anyone can create sites today for free. there are even ways to make money on facebook etc.

In fact some sites pay you commission of a $150 or more for every customer that you send to them and they sign up with their services. You think the IRS knows about all these billions of web sites on the Internet or even what country they originate from? think again.

I've been in technology all my adult life. There are tons of ways to make money on the Internet and I've automated a lot of them. And there other ways besides the internet. Repairing a friend's computer and charging them but not reporting that to the IRS etc. You need help moving, need plumbing, electrical , a haircut etc. Why do you have to report that to the IRS? there is a trillion dollar black market already in the U.S.

Jim the only way to kill this monster is to take away it’s food.
No money....no power.

Beginning Jan 1st, everyone should change their withholding statement to deduction levels of NO taxes withheld.
that would give us a year of NO taxes being paid.
DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS

I think there is great potential in all of the ideas you have suggested.

We have been going about it as if the way to handle this were through reforming the Federal government; perhaps it lies in the states, not through secession, but through the reassertion of their powers.

Bills can be repealed, right? Prohibition was stuck down.
We have to keep the fires stoked and get true Conseravtives elected next time. And then maybe we can undo the damage done by this tyrant.

1. Pull all funds out of any 401k - all money out of stock market.

2. Stop buying anything but essentials.

3. Work to become as independent on purchased items as possible.
a. start a garden
b. buy generators

4. Need to start an organized barter system between conservatives trading services like car repairs etc.

5. Minimize payments to the system as much as possible.

The only thing the beast cares about is money and power. Everyone will need to make a choice: freedom or feeding the beast.

This will require sacrifice.

If you own a business and hire some liberal idiot; fire them or scale back your business. Stop any support of useless idiots.

No watching NFL. Kill the economy. Let tax revenues dry up. Hunker down and survive - but let the beast die.

That said, the problem is that if the system collapses (and I agree that it might), they will have the power to impose a draconian authoritarian regime immediately, combined with waves of permitted random violence carried out by Obama's faithful, and we will begin to experience the joys of living in Zimbabwe.

I wish people would quite talking in fear of violence carried out by Obambi's faithful. If they start it, we'll finish it and it will be a decidedly sudden finish. We have a second amendment for a reason, and that reason ain't huntin'. Tyranny will be met with strong, deadly force, as the founders intended.

Jim, the problem is that at the beginning of every war, there is a martyr or group of martyrs. Socially, a *critical mass* needs to be attained, and I don't think we're there yet.

Have you seen the made-for-TV movie, Amerika"? That's what I fear is happening. The slow, insidious acceptance of Marxism no matter how outrageous the behavior of our pols or the laws they pass.

The time will come, my FRiend...but not enough people are hurting badly enough yet - and neither do we have a martyr to rally behind.
