Physical pole shift would explain some of the same actions. Actually, something passing close enough to the earth might have triggered a pole shift.
THAT is not something you really want to have happen again. At least not while anyone you love is still alive.
That would give us a date for the burial of the site ~ and, koinkydinkily, an event that could be timed perfectly with the use of Sumerian astronomical observations. Following the catastrophe (about 8,000 years back) folks would have lost memory of the use of the funeral/memorial site.

I’m increasingly of the opinion that it’s more cyclical in nature, happening again and again, and that there is a not so minor element of this in the Biblical Revelation. You may still be correct, there are numerous astronomical/astrological accounts from practially all ancient cultures describing the orderly movements of the planets coming undone, but there’s more to it than Venus or Ishtar. That one seems to have been tamed into a safer and less eccentric orbit after a near pass with the Sun.
Not really. But the land does move up and down, all the time.
I suspect they’ll find the course corrections took place in several passes of Earth, not one pass around the Sun.

When the Younger Dryas happened (about 10,000 years ago, or 2,000 years in the future of the start of this monument ~ like from Jesus to us in a time sense) the ocean level dropped a bit.
In the immediate area here it was about 8,500 years ago that the Sahara was prime, and by 5,000 years ago the Sahara was desert ~ and everybody had moved out.
Earlier by a couple of thousand years ~ circa 5,500 BC, or 7,500 years ago, the black sea filled when the Mediterranean spilled in.
That's Koinkydinkally when the asteroid shifted orbits from tracking Earth to tracking Venus.
All of this means that "the past" was real, people reported it as best they could, and it was far worse than what we've had to face since that time.
I find those ancient works truly amazing as those cuts, shapes and fittings(?) were done on site with?????

I’m not so sure about that. I’ve seen quite a few videos of underwater structures which are solid, all in place, no earthquake damage, all 150 to 200 feet (roughly, IIRC) underwater.
I don’t know much about carbon dating, but, it would seem that if you test a carved rock, the results will be the age of the rock not the carving.
I don’t know anything about this sort of thing but the oval stone in the middle with the rectangle inside looks like it goes right on top of one of the pillars- reminds me of LEGOS.
So how long ago was the earth formed and where do you get that information?
