(CNN) The White House released President Obama’s original birth certificate Wednesday.
The surprise release follows recent and sustained remarks by businessman Donald Trump, among others, that raised doubts as to whether the president was born in the United States.
The mother's name is always the mother's maiden name. The signature is just the legal signature. It is not a contract.
Mine has my mother's maiden name, but she signed it "Mrs. James C. Smith" [I changed my actual father's name].
Thank you for the clarification. Apparently anthropological facts are irrelevant and only self-identification matters.

And that’s a load of baloney, because we’ve had other presidential candidates and even presidents with the same issue of a foreign born, even British fathers. The issue is irrelevant. Obama was born in the United States. He is a natural born citizen. Game over.
What they should do now is release Lt. Col Lakin.
My question still for Obama would be why the delay, why spent over 2 MILLION fighting this. I will NEVER trust anything about obama, what he says or does. He is the enemy of our country.

Ok, I'm not sure where you are talking about. The Dept of Health #, 61 10641 is not pre-printed on the form, it is stamped. Probably one of those rotary stamps that you can change the numbers. Unless very meticulous with those rotary stamps, its probably rare that the numbers all line up exactly. Or are you referring to a different set of numbers?
I think I totally misunderstood your question.
If you’re asking why is there white around the text when the security paper should be there, then I would guess that it’s an artifact of having created an electronic document from a physicial sheet of paper.

I’m looking to have this debunked too. Please if someone can come up with a legitimate reason for the PDF to be a layered file, I want to know it.

A SCANNED PDF DOES NOT HAVE CLIPPING MASKS. PERIOD.
Clipping mask information is only generated by a program like Illustrator or Photoshop and is often retained as part of the file when rendered in PDF.

That’s been my experience as well... and yet the file I downloaded has clipping masks and layers.
This must be opened in Illustrator though. It won’t work if you try in Photoshop.
BTW... I anticipate they’ll figure this out quickly and update the PDF to compress it as a single layer.
I’ve downloaded the file though and have the PDF on my system.

The HDOH currently claims that their COLB *is* their long-form. That is the only “birth certificate” they will admit to having forms for currently. I asked them how that complies with their law that says their standard BC has to have AT LEAST the information required on the CDC Standard BC. They deleted several of my e-mails and pretended they didn’t know what I was talking about. Even Dr Conspiracy agreed that they were lying to me.
But why would the HDOH do all that electronic manipulation instead of just giving a certified copy of the original on security paper? It makes no sense.
that is what I kept saying! He certainly has the money and willing accomplicies to have had a good forgery made and slipped into the wrong location in the files so that it could be “found” if it was indeed missing.
I’ve tried to view it online, but apparently their server is taking LOTS of hits.

What do you bet the “certificate” will only be available for viewing for an hour or so.
The issue I have is that with modern forensic technology, and with the knowledge of RatherGate, the Administration would have to be politically insane to forge this document because it wasn't necessary to do so.
Now personally, I've always been more interested in his academic records anyway because I think they'd expose the myth that he's some kind of hyper-intelligent prodigy. That's the type of evidence you can lay out there and just let people come to their own conclusions, which is always more persuasive than evidence that has to be explained in great detail to be convincing.

The clerk checking off that the required information is actually there, or that she had already entered it, most likely.
Think about having the job of pencilling this stuff in to a ledger, day, after day, after day.
