According to PSD sufferers, Sarah couldn't possibly run because she hasn't courted Iowa and it's too late.
I take it Rick has been all over Iowa?
All other things being equal, I think there would be a backlash against another Texas governor.
Do it. You may be the only one who can take out the Obamanation.
More day-dreaming from the “Anybody But Palin” crowd.
ROFLOL, you first need to be running to swamp anybody in IOWA.
Perry has been to Iowa several times.
Palin...she can’t win it. She’s just in there for attention.
That reality show was pretty much the last nail. If she has any sense, that she already knows that. She wins the primary (unlikely), and it is 4 more years of the vactioner in chief who just insulted a queen and thousands of families affected by storms in our nation’s heartland.
What, specifically, is Perry’s stance on illegal immigration and the border fence? If he’s even made a few waffly comments about amnesty or a ‘guest-worker program’ he’s out. We don’t need another ‘moderate’ disappointing us on one of the most important issues. If he’s “alligators in the moat” about it, I might give him a listen.
Romney is no centrist. He’s an abortionist, big government statist. See his actual record as governor of Massachusetts.
He's not quite the RINO that some here have made him out to be, but he is not the guy that can get microphone ambushed and survive either.
To explain the conservative truth to the unwashed masses, we've got to find somebody that at least ‘approaches’ Reagan's communication skills.
Rick Perry has pocketed lots of money from the homebuilders that employ the illegals...nuff said.
I’d vote for Perry if Palin doesn’t run. Or if Cain doesn’t get any traction in the primaries.
FYI..Perry was on Greta’s show yesterday. LIVE from the US Border. He excoriated Obama..he was very impressive..suggest you see if it’s on YouTube or the FOX website..I was very impressed..he comes across like Jim Arness on Gunsmoke..strong, competent..
Here’s one Texan who wouldn’t vote for him.....no way
I could support Rick Perry.
Rick Perry is the anti-Bush, a real Conservative, from what I can tell out here in the hinterlands.
He’s my #1 choice because he has a long, strong, conservative track record of executive experience.
I’ll take Rick Perry all day long. I don’t know all his warts yet, and I’m sure he has some. But even compared to Sarah (who I love), Rick is a more likely winner, I think.
That could certainly be a problem, but if he has a good record that he can point to, it would likely mitigate such a backlash. He would be politically well served to distance himself a little from Bush on the grounds of Bush's liberalism.
Rick Perry will not get my vote. He’s just another RINO in disguise. I’ve had my fill of these establishment types.
Yep.
Why?
I’d like to hear his negatives.
