Gov Rick Perry Supporter and pollster for a SuperPAC that supports Perry is the Herman Cain source
Fox News Insider ^ | 11/2/11 | Greta Susteren

Posted on 11/02/2011 6:14:32 PM PDT by justsaynomore

I don't know if there is more than one source or not, but, according to Politico, Chris Wilson, a Governor Perry supporter and pollster for the super PAC that supports Governor Perry, worked at the National Restaurant Association and is the (a?) source for the Cain/sexual harassment story.

He said the episode of harassment occurred in a public restaurant in the 1990's and that many people knew about it. What is WEIRD about the Politico story and Chris Wilson, is that Chris Wilson would not or did not say what happened. The only reason that omission catches my attention is that sexual harassment is a rather “fluid” concept. Some actions are OBVIOUSLY sexual harassment and some are NOT – and are merely actions misinterpreted or exaggerated.

Hence I would like to know what it is that people (Chris Wilson) say Mr. Cain did. Of course because Wilson is also a Governor Perry guy, his remarks (accusation) should be looked at with a discerning eye – and it is all the more important that he provide more information about what he claims Mr. Cain did.

It would be nice, before you accused me of something, if you would read my posts—the whole series of them—and accuse me of something I actually did. Your snarky comment had absolutely no bearing on the discussion I had w the other poster. None.

I think its primarily a SE pizza chain.

When I lived in Orlando there was a Mr Gattis chain that sucked.

I lived in a place that was a mom and pop shop called Sorenntinos

“When Cain raised his hand to his chin and said, ‘My wife is about so high.’, If you believe that is what happened you are naive. I bet that hand was a lot lower.

Don't stop at cowardly innuendo like all the other Cain smear-mongers are. How low are you betting Cain's hand was, exactly?

Those women were not the leakers, someone else — likely someone at NRA — leaked it. They cannot speak out and it is reported one of them is in hiding over this. You are all blaming the wrong people in my opinion and so far we are all allowed to have one.

I'm not blaming anyone, Nothing I have said points the finger toward these un-named, alleged women. If in fact there is a story to tell, I would imagine that they would not have been the first to drop a dime on it.

You're jumping to the righteous defense of women who you have no idea are worthy or not. None the less, don't confuse my refusal to swallow conjecture with blame. When did the accused become guilty until proven innocent? When and if proof of a pattern of true harrassment (not the flim flam crap that resulted in harassment suits in the 90's by NOW and women's lib do-gooders), I will decide at that point. Until then, it's all innuendo, conjecture, and rumors.

I am telling you his claim is ridiculous.

Who would complain about that story?

It stinks and sounds disingenuous.

“If you want to know how a man will act in his future, look at his past”

And in Perry’s past he supported Al Gore, ‘nuff said.

I really don’t get the FR love affair with Cain.

Asking that the man be given a fair chance to compete is not the same as a love affair.
I think part of the attraction of Cain is that he is an outsider, a regular citizens fed up with the same ol, same ol that we get from the career politicians. No matter who wins the election, the taxpayers lose.

The odds are that if Cain wins the presidency, he will be rendered ineffective the minute he takes office. But, anything is better than Obama. And I believe Cain can beat him.
. Shuffling career politicians in and out of office has not worked out well for us. We need to change up this game and Cain may be one possibility.

I did not support Alan Keyes in his Presidential effort. I did not support Michael Steele as RNC Chair. I support Herman Cain.

Now you tell me what this has to do about obsession with race? I myself analyze each person on their character, experience, what they are and what they have done. I have made my conclusions, overwhelmingly so. If this is "cultism" or "race-based" when then to hell with it, so be it, it does not even dignify a response to some here on FR.

Herman Cain is the BEST, I mean, THE BEST thing we got going against Obongo in the General Election, bar none!! Even they know it down at the White House. End of story.

He says he is bound not to talk. Read the story genius....

That is a lie. Chris Wilson is not bound by anything.

Ive noticed pretty quickly that most people around here are just simply anti-Romney. So they are jumping on anyone’s bandwagon that can beat him. Right now it’s Cain. And that’s fine. It’s their vote.

But Im not so sure Cain is as conservative as people think he is. He is wanting to open a new revenue stream into the federal government. And that’s not something I support. I think adding a 9% federal sales tax (on top of your state sales tax) will further stifle the economy. And liberals down the road will no doubt constantly fight to raise that tax.

One happened at a restaurant and offended a lot of people.

Says Chris Wilson who refuses to say what happened and not one other person has corroborated. You're nothing but a sleaze merchant, lahargis.

Cain did these things to himself. The women did not ask for it.

Did what? Asked for what? You keep speaking of these unspecified allegations as if you know what happened yet none of the rest of us do. You're a complete sleazeball.

FReepers tend in general to fall for the flowery flacker over any detail of record, or weight of thought and long term accomplishment in a candidate. If it’s a silver tongue, they’re all in, and to heck with how THIN their record is. After now three women willing to sqawk against ole’ Herb, it helps me understand why he wound up in a dark hole with a radio show. He burned his bridges with a couple of settlements and now a third woman talking, it’s starting to show why he took up the microphone instead. Who would hire him after all that?

We’ll blame the media for a few days and it will help his campaign coffers for awhile, but the drum beat of leacherous behavior won’t play with women over time.

His curious hatred for Rick Perry is a phenomenon. What is that all about, except that it dove tails with Romney’s dread of Perry. Something is so clearly up and Herblit is starting to look very suspicious. He will be done in two months. Watch.
