Since visiting there a few times, I find that the Singaporean method of handling crime should be a template for the West.

There are a myriad of crimes that are remedied by the death penalty and pedophilia is one of them. Justice works swiftly after a prompt judicial review of the cases.

I also like the way Singapore has eliminated any drug problem.

A teacher was told by a 15-year-old high school sophomore that he was having homosexual sex with an "older man." At the very least, statutory rape occurred. Fox News reported that the teacher violated a state law requiring that he report the abuse. That former teacher, Kevin Jennings, is President Obama's "safe school czar".

According to Mr. Jennings' own description in a new audiotape discovered by Fox News, the 15-year-old boy met the "older man" in a "bus station bathroom" and was taken to the older man's home that night. ..."

On the tape, Mr. Jennings recollected that he told the student to make sure "to use a condom" when he was with the older man. That he actively encouraged the relationship is reinforced by Mr. Jennings' own description in his 1994 book, "One Teacher in 10." In that account, the teacher boasts how he allayed the student's concerns about the relationship to such a degree that the 15-year-old "left my office with a smile on his face that I would see every time I saw him on the campus for the next two years, until he graduated." ..."

Those who believe this trash pseudo-science are just sinners who want to justify their immoral behavior like homosexuals and the bad thing is, they will get by with it because we have voted into power those who are fundamentally immoral and Politically Correct. Well, we are all sinners here on this mortal coil. Nobody has reason to dispute that. And people who believe the "trash pseudo science" certainly are responsible to be aware of its implications. Some are probably narrow minded eggheads who really are not aware of having a dog in that fight. They're deluded, but down a different avenue. Many may not have given a thought to carrying out actual pedophilia or whatever. They are simply tied to materialism. I simply suggest Christians to be careful whom they accuse of what or they can be, at best, unhelpful. Now once you HAVE identified where they are, feel free to go to town. (I suggest going after the materialism.) But do not "box as beating the air."

I would say then, Alex that under age 18 would be an appropriate age for the victim; however, as you know the perp doesn’t carry a guide. Many victims are as young as one-year old!

I had a disagreement in college with my psychology professor. He said pedophilia was an irresistible sexual urge, while I said that there were many pedophiles who only looked but because pedophilia was considered such a vile perversion that the only ones who sought psychiatric treatment were those who had been caught abusing children. Thus psych doctors believed that it was irresistible because they never saw the ones who had successfully resisted their urges and I believed that blame could be assigned to those who yielded to their urges.

Fortunately, my grade wasn't affected by my talking back on this issue.

In Christian parlance this would be termed a means of temptation. I don’t know if there is even such a thing as a brain condition (which is materialistic) that can lend itself ONLY to immorality.

This does not mean for one millisecond that we should be unmerciful to those in temptation. We should by all means share every grace with those people which will nourish them spiritually to beat the demons behind the temptation (by overwhelming them with God’s goodness). Too often we say “let someone else do it.” It’s high time we stop being a country of lone rangers. It takes a toll.
