Carnival's cruise ship Triumph docked at St. Thomas.

Ahoy, Freepers!  Why not make your next year's vacation a FREEPER CRUISE? Can't think of a better idea!
United we stand for conservative activism AND some good old-fashioned fun, too!

This cruise thread will be running right up until embarkation day.  It'll be packed with lots of information.
Post your enthusiastic comments here.  Links are provided below for stateroom/fares information, registration form and
the Bahama Mama Q&A thread devoted solely to answers for all your cruise questions and to provide you with smooth sailing.

We strongly urge you to register ASAP.  We need a certain number of registrations by a mid-January cutoff date
to ensure our reserved block of cabins with Carnival.  From many communications we've received since last year's terrific cruise,
we're certain the interest is out there.  We don't want to have to deep-six this event if we don't get enough registrations in a timely manner.
PLEASE NOTE to hold off on making your air tickets reservations until we give you the go-ahead.
We have more than ample lead-time for this cruise and you'll be able to get good air-fare bargains in plenty of time!
Since some air-transportation tickets are non-refundable, we don't want anyone to be left holding the ditty-bag.

As an incentive for early registration, the first 20 Freepers to get their reservations into the travel agency
will win their choice of five (5) sheets of Ocents.com stamp sheets (go to that website for Seeking the Truth's array of terrific stamps!)
They will also receive a usflagballoon.com pin courtesy of Abner (check out Abner's usflagballoon website
to view the colorful pin and some excellent pictures of the US Flag Balloon!)  Registrations will be dated and time-stamped by the agency.
Winners will be notified and they'll receive their gift stamps and pins via mail.

We've got a great contest planned for later.  A lucky winner will receive a FREE cabin for two!
Last year, the contest was won by our Freeper pal, Taxman.  This time it may be you!

Bookmark this thread.  We'll keep you posted as plans evolve.  Register now for this fun-filled getaway in the sun!
Informal FRN meetings will be held on board which will be full of information and idea-sharing for effective conservative activism.

Rock the boat with your fellow Freepers!  Climb aboard today!

This page is for general comments about the cruise.
If you have questions, do not post them here.
Use the Bahama Mama link and ask them there.
Thank you!

Much appreciation for your offer to help withe cruise. Your freepmail should have arrived. I should have said you will be receiving a freepmail!

Actually, I forgot tonight is the night to take the trash out to the curb and while I was out there I looked around the sky to see if any Leonids were shooting around. Nary a one.

It's a clear but frigid night here in sunny Florida, so I hightailed it back to the computer. I saw the Leonids last year......they're spectacular. Even a little creepy when you contemplate how high they are, and how fast and far they're going across that dark, infinite dome.

I got it and replied - thanks!

(No falling rocks here either - I'll roll out of the sack about 5 and take a gander, but I don't expect to see too many with the clouds, full moon, and Ft. Worth city lights).

Welcome back, Bob. Happy to see you're signing up again. We all had such a terrific time on the last cruise that re-upping for this one will be a ditto for each one of us.

Avast, all ye freeper varlats!

At the end of this week, the cruise committee will assess if there's enough interest and sufficient early-bird registrations to continue with plans for the event.

If you're planning on going, now's the time to pick up the phone and make your reservation directly with the travel agency. The toll-free number is on the registration form you can bring up through the link at the top of this thread. We know from the threads that there's great interest for this cruise, but the cruise line, understandably, needs certain guarantees to hold our block of cabins, and the deadline is Friday. These ships fill up fast and we don't want to be out of luck.

So, we're hoping that as many of you as can will make that phone call to the agency today or within the next couple days. Then we can relax and the committee will continue with plans for our anticipated FReeps Ahoy! tropical getaway in the sun!.

With a group such as this, you get a free berth for X number of signups. The Network uses them for contests, speakers, VIP guests, fundraising, etc. No individual in the Network or on the Cruise Committee benefits.

Yonif, you can still sign up for a period of time. The sooner the better to obtain one of our block of rooms. I'm glad you're going. I've read a lot of your posts on the forum and will glad to meet you.

Bahama Mama is the person to address this to, for a definitive accurate timetable.
