It's true the AP are scumbags. But covering up the truth gives them ammo.

b) The hijackers might have had a small bomb. The hijackers probably said they had a bomb to discourage a passenger revolt.

Actually a bomb or shoot-down are absolutely neccessary to explain the way the debris was distributed.

But you never told us what that "other reason" might be. Poor flying skills on the part of the hijacker who was flying the aircraft.
There's been lots of speculation about whether the plane was shot down, but I'm quite certain that was not the case.

God bless you for having the best post of the thread and one of the best posts since 9/11 on this subject.
HOW the plane went down is not particularly relevant. WHY it went down -- directly from the actions of the passengers -- is the only thing that matters now.
"Let's roll" will resonate with Americans for generations to come.

Hey idiot did you know that the initial news reports (prior to the spin control and hero making) stated that US military planes shot down Flight 93? No they didn't.

That plane crashed with an Islamic hijacker at the wheel. It did not crash with a gang of passengers pouring into the cockpit. It did not crash with Wesley Snipes throwing a hijacker out the door. It did not crash as a result of a passenger named MacGyver making a hand grenade out of his airline meal utensils and throwing it in the cockpitBut it did crash with passengers moving forward and one flight attendant boiling water to throw on the hijackers. I always wonder if she was able to pull that off...but the intent was there at the very least.

Nutcase, you are relying on second hand reports from the tabloid Daily Mirror. Even in this bit of fluff the witness watched the plane in its intact form fly into the ground. It does not report the plane falling in many pieces from the sky. This report makes it seem as if a strange, aircraft matching no type of airplane in our military inventory caused the plane to crash by following it.
What a silly little conspiracy theorist you are.
To: mikegi
AQ previously experimented with improvised explosives, like peroxide-acetone bombs and killed a Japanese passenger on an airliner over the Pacific with such a a bomb.
Then we caught the shoe bomber.
In this case, a bomb would have ejected debris far from the main crash site, which is what incontrovertably happened here. So a bomb is one way to explain what happened. A shoot-down would also explain it.
But there is no possible way that just flying the plane into the ground would have resulted in small debris, including human remains, miles from the main crash site.

Poor flying skills on the part of the hijacker who was flying the aircraft. So it was all a coincidence? "Let's roll" and then the pilot loses control all within a couple minutes?
I'd believe the shoot-down before I believe that.

Actually a bomb or shoot-down are absolutely neccessary to explain the way the debris was distributed. Debris was not distributed; it was concentrated in one place.

The thing you are missing is that some people are not able to understand what they read.I agree. Witness the post (#138) which follows yours.

I cited what appears to be a well-researched major newspaper report that includes eyewitness and official accounts of debris, including body parts, miles from the crash site.
Got anything that refutes that?

There were few human remains found at the crash site.

Even in your article it says:
In response to a question on recurring rumors that the plane might have been shot down, Crowley said that at this stage of the investigation, no possibility was being ruled out. He stressed, however, that no evidence had surfaced to support that theory.
And of course, it never did.
To: Pukka Puck
There is a difference between a bomb and something that looks like a bomb. Are you implying Islamic terrorists do not know how to make strap-on bombs? This is by far their favorite way to kill people.
On 9-11 there was no way to prevent someone from bringing a bomb onto a plane.

Why don't you do a google search or better yet a FR search. Have you even heard of WND ? Here is a link: Do your homework before you even think about posting here again. My aren't we full of ourselves!

I've known for a long time that the passengers did not seize control of the plane, or even make it into the cockpit.Mr. Insider, eh?
