Ahead of December 21, which marks the conclusion of the 5,125-year "Long Count" Mayan calendar, panic buying of candles and essentials has been reported in China and Russia, along with an explosion in sales of survival shelters in America. In France believers were preparing to converge on a mountain where they believe aliens will rescue them. The precise manner of Armageddon remains vague, ranging from a catastrophic celestial collision between Earth and the mythical planet Nibiru, also known as Planet X, a disastrous crash with a comet, or the annihilation of civilisation by a giant solar storm. In America Ron...

Atomic Energy Agency report increased alarm about Iran’s illicit nuclear program, now comes word that the Islamic regime has created even more secret nuclear sites. The IAEA report indicated that not only has Iran completed installation of 2,784 centrifuges at Fordow, the previous secret site deep in a mountain believed to be immune to air strikes, but also could within days increase output of highly enriched uranium to the 20-percent level, well on the way to nuclear weapons. Iran has started to feed uranium hexafluoride gas into four new cascades, increasing the number of centrifuges at Fordow from 700 to...

Will The Peak Of The Solar Cycle In 2013 Produce Technology Crippling Solar Super Storms? By Michael Snyder November 25th, 2012 Our sun is becoming increasingly unstable, and most people have no idea the complete and utter devastation that a massive solar storm could potentially cause. A giant solar storm could potentially take out satellites, GPS systems, electrical grids, communication networks and pretty much anything else that runs on electricity or that relies upon electronics. And considering how dependent our society has become on technology, we are talking about an event that could possibly bring about the end of the...

Boeing Has Perfected A Missile That Wipes Out Electronics And Leaves Everything Else Intact Robert JohnsonOct. 24, 2012, 7:55 AMBoeing While the U.S. geared up for the second presidential debate last Tuesday, an unoccupied building sat pulsing with computers, electronic surveillance, and security systems in the Utah high desert. The unoccupied site was awaiting the test of a weapon the Pentagon requested four years ago to the day on 16 October, 2008. The Counter-Electronics High Power Microwave Advanced Missile Project (CHAMP), led by Boeing's Phantom works, promised to change the face of contemporary warfare, and its test was a complete...

The first thing that we need to look at is the distinct lack of information available about EMP and its effects. Most of what we know is from nuclear tests, both American and Soviet, in the 1960s. Data and information after that period is still highly classified, so all we have to go on is what has been declassified from this earlier era of tests. However, this information, along with a few pieces of recent data, is enough to make some reasonable projections. The second thing we need to understand is that a HEMP attack on the United States is...

The Pokémon Plot: How One Cartoon Inspired the Army to Dream Up a Seizure Gun In 1998, a secret Army intelligence analysis suggested a new way to take out enemies: blast them with electromagnetic energy until their brains overload and they start to convulse. Amazingly, it was an idea inspired by a Pokemon episode. Application of "electromagnetic pulses" could force neurons to all fire at once, causing a "disruption of voluntary muscle control," reads a description of a proposed seizure weapon, contained in a declassified document from the Army's National Ground Intelligence Center. "It is thought by using a method...

I will admit to being something of a”prepper”. For those not in the know, a prepper is a person who prepares for a disaster. Most preppers have a disaster they are specifically preparing for. In Florida most are ready for hurricanes, in California earthquakes. Some of us prepare for more world wide catastrophes. My personal opinion is that we might experience another Carrington Event within my lifetime. The Carrington event was a solar storm that struck the Earth in 1859. If the same type of storm hit the Earth today it would destroy all electronics on the planet. The entire...

Israel Could Send Iran ‘Back To The Stone Age’ with Electromagnetic BombAn American electromagnetic bomb being tested (photo credit: screen capture botanyfamily/Youtube) Israel could destroy Iran’s electric network with a specially designed electromagnetic bomb in the event of a military conflict between the countries, The Sunday Times reported on Sunday. An electromagnetic bomb of this sort would be detonated above the ground, creating an electromagnetic pulse that would “disrupt all the technological devices working on the ground,” an American expert was quoted as saying to the London paper. The use of the new technology by Israel was brought up in...

Despite 50 years of research on high-power microwaves, the US military has yet to produce a usable weapon. For some Pentagon officials, the demonstration in October 2007 must have seemed like a dream come true — an opportunity to blast reporters with a beam of energy that causes searing pain. The event in Quantico, Virginia, was to be a rare public showing for the US Air Force's Active Denial System: a prototype non-lethal crowd-control weapon that emits a beam of microwaves at 95 gigahertz. Radiation at that frequency penetrates less than half a millimetre into the skin, so the beam...

Israel might attack Iran by using electromagnetic impulses (EMP) that could cripple the country by shutting down its electronics and sending the Islamic Republic “back to the Stone Age,” The London Sunday Times reported. EMP causes non-lethal gamma energy to react with the magnetic field and produces a powerful electromagnetic shock wave that can destroy electronic devices, especially those used in Iran’s nuclear plants. The shock wave would knock out Iran’s power grid and communications systems for transport and financial services, leading to economic collapse. The “back to the Stone Age” tactic was proposed in the right-wing publication Israel National...

This week, Heritage observed National EMP Awareness Day. An electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack on the United States would have truly devastating effects. An attack would change the “very fabric of U.S. society,” and millions could potentially lose their lives in the aftermath. Yet as the name “EMP Awareness Day” suggests, Americans and our nation’s leaders remain woefully unprepared to protect against this threat. An EMP is a high-intensity burst of electromagnetic energy caused by the rapid acceleration of charged particles. Caused by either a nuclear weapon detonated high in the atmosphere, a radio-frequency weapon, or a naturally occurring solar storm,...

National Security: A new TV series demonstrates graphically how vulnerable our society is to an attack using weapons our enemies, including rogue state Iran, could use tomorrow — and the importance of missile defense. Set in a future "where every single piece of technology — computers, planes, cars, phones, even lights — has mysteriously blacked out forever," according to the promos, the drama series is fiction, but the threat it depicts, the end of technological society and life as we know it, is a frighteningly real possibility. We've warned of the threat many times, but the damage an electromagnetic pulse...

Congressman Trent Franks' (R-AZ) H.R. 668 calls for protecting America's electrical grids from electromagnetic pulse (EMP). The legislation is known as The SHIELD Act. "SHIELD" is an acronym for "Secure High-voltage Infrastructure for Electricity from Lethal Damage." If you've ever given a thought to how you retrieve funds from your bank, either from inside the lobby or from and ATM, in the event of a major attack on our electrical grids - when everything automated and computerized goes down, then you know why this is important legislation. And there are consequences far beyond my somewhat minor example above, as you...

Almost a week after the D.C. area was pummeled with raging storms, many individuals are still suffering in the July heat without lights, phone lines, and, perhaps most importantly, air conditioning. In the immediate aftermath of this event, tens of thousands of Washingtonians, Marylanders, and Virginians were left without power. Storms across the country had similar effects, and Americans from Richmond to Detroit are still facing the summer heat without many basic comforts. As awful as this is, things could be even worse. Imagine for a moment that that the power never came back on.

Newt Gingrich issued a warning, based on the destructive storms that hit the Washington, D.C. area over the weekend, on Twitter:

Britain needs to spend money on building defenses against an “E-bomb” that would explode in the upper atmosphere and knock out all electronic communication and power, the Defense Secretary will say today. Phillip Hammond will tell a conference that money needs to be spent on defenses that “cannot be seen on the parade ground.” Dependence on electronic networks “creates vulnerability” he will say, adding that the response cannot be based on “infantry, or jet planes or destroyers.” There is an increasing possibility that a rogue state could use an “E-bomb” that would release a devastating electromagnetic pulse (EMP), experts will...

When Iran says "Nuclear weapons are a grave sin” it sounds almost as good to pundits as “Peace in our time” sounded to the useless idiot pundits in 1938 - but this article shows how Iran can keep its word and destroy the West. Read carefully. Much has been, and will be, said about the Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei’s February 2012 informal speech to a group of Iranian nuclear scientist’s wherein he is translated in English to have said: “There is no doubt that the decision makers in the countries opposing us know well that Iran is not after nuclear...
