Actor Kelsey Grammer said in a recent interview that he still supports former President Donald Trump. But Paramount, the studio behind his new Frasier reboot, reportedly cut the interview short before the actor could elaborate. Kelsey Grammer was speaking to the BBC Radio 4 about the new Frasier series, which streams on Paramount+. During the interview, BBC Radio 4 host Justin Webb asked Grammer if he was still a Trump supporter. “I am and I’ll let that be the end of it,” the Emmy-winning star replied. Grammer’s comment comes at the very end of the six-minute radio segment.

Another beloved sitcom is plotting a possible return. I have learned that Frasier star and executive producer Kelsey Grammer is fielding interest to put together a new Frasier series. Unlike the slew of recent revivals of comedy series with the original cast and original creative auspices, including Will & Grace, Roseanne and Murphy Brown, I hear that Frasier is envisioned as a reboot, likely set in a new city, with the title character, played by Grammer, as a possible link to the Emmy-winning 1993 series. Psychiatrist Frasier Craine already made a cross-country move once. He was introduced on the Boston-set...

Actor Kelsey Grammer explained why he is pro-life in an interview last week with the Times, calling out the abortion industry as “dishonest” for using the euphemism of “reproductive rights” to speak about abortion. Grammer told the Times he has “as much respect for women and women’s issues as possible,” but said that women’s rights are not what is at stake with abortion. It “gets a bit dishonest to call something reproductive rights when you clearly have a choice well before a baby is conceived,” Grammer noted, which is when reproduction actually happens. The 63-year-old actor known for his role...

(Full Title) Kelsey Grammer Stands Up For Life, Says Reproductive Rights Is a ‘Dishonest’ Name for Abortion We don’t see much common sense coming from Hollywood these days. It’s a place where conservatives have basically been told they aren’t welcome. However, every once in awhile we see conservatives who aren’t afraid to stand up for what’s right. Kelsey Grammar is one of those conservatives and he recently sat down for an interview that ended up being a strong defense of the pro-life movement. Grammer told the Times he has “as much respect for women and women’s issues as possible,” but...

Consider Mona Chalabi, an editor of the iconic leftwing British newspaper, The Guardian, who believes that having good grammar and correcting others is racist, an expression of “white privilege.”

Racial tensions are inflamed at the University of California at Los Angeles following several incidents — most notably, one where a professor corrected the grammar, punctuation and capitalization in minority students’ assignments. The act of correcting a black student was “micro-aggression,” according to the members of the student group “Call 2 Action: Graduate Students of Color,” which launched a sit-in during a subsequent meeting of the class. “A hostile campus climate has been the norm for Students of Color in this class throughout the quarter as our epistemological and methodological commitments have been repeatedly questioned by our classmates and our...

Professor says kids no longer need to learn spelling and grammar because of smartphones The Daily Caller 4 hours ago Education Several skills that every kid once learned in school are going the way of the dodo in a hurry. Diagramming sentences is practically an extinct art, for example. Cursive handwriting and memorized multiplication tables look to be swiftly headed that way. Apparently, the next thing that kids will no longer need to learn is spelling and grammar. Sugata Mitra, a professor of educational technology at Newcastle University in northeast England, announced that traditional language rules are out of fashion,...

He is famous for playing intellectual psychologist Frasier Crane, whose pompous self-regard was constantly causing him problems. So it would seem that Cheers star Kelsey Grammer already has most of the qualifications required to go into politics. However his former wife Camille's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars have mocked the star, claiming his checkered personal life gives him no chance of success.

Heads up Alec Baldwin, there’s another actor with his eye on a political career. The New York Post reported Sunday that Kelsey Grammer intends to run for office in the future, perhaps in New York where he now resides. A rare conservative in Hollywood, Grammer told the paper that being an actor and a politician both require a "narcissistic personality” and “a resilient ego.” Money doesn’t hurt either. The Post pointed out that the actor, who will play a fictional Chicago mayor on a drama called “Boss” this fall, is worth almost $100 million. What might hurt? Four marriages and...

During a commercial break of a show I was watching tonight, I flipped to a channel, (to a show I refuse to name) and heard of 'RightNetwork', a new right leaning channel that will make it's debut this summer(?), a leading proponent of the channel is Kelsey Grammar. For now, I gather, that it is going to start as an On Demand network, (Not really sure what that means). But from the promo I saw, it looks like a network for me. Anyone in the know?

Kelsey Grammer wasn't able to attend a parole hearing today for the man who raped and murdered his sister back in 1975 -- so he sent this powerful letter which was read aloud. Grammer -- who missed the hearing in Colorado Springs this morning due to rain delays at JFK airport -- pleads with the court not to release the man who "abducted ... raped ... savaged ... butchered" his little sister Karen. Grammer described his sister as "smart and good and decent," and said "I can never escape the horror of what happened" to her ... "Please do not...

34-years-ago, Karen Grammer was brutally killed after a botched robbery in Colorado Springs. Her convicted killer, Freddie Glenn, is now up for parole. Karen's brother, actor Kelsey Grammer has said he will be at that parole hearing at the Limon Correctional Facility Monday. Former Assistant District Attorney Chuck Heim..."She was sitting outside ...waiting for her boyfriend to get out of work and these clowns picked her up," It was July 1st, 1975. 18-year-old Grammer was sitting in a car outside of a Red Lobster in Colorado Springs, when three men, including Freddie Glenn, tried to rob the restaurant. Every now and again someone in Hollywood gets it right. Grammer's had his issues, but I can forgive anyone for having to stay messed-up to get along in Hollywood. They're totally OK with drug problems, but come out in favor of tax cuts and you'll be crucified. I have to have some respect for Hollywood types that have the chutzpah to think their own thoughts... especially when so many of them refuse to think at all.

In a just world, the words “From the makers of Airplane!” should be enough to guarantee a blockbuster. Whether An American Carol – which opens nationwide this weekend – will do as well financially as it deserves remains to be seen, but it is a success, not only as a comedy, but on a more fundamental level. An American Carol is an existential triumph: it is the first Hollywood film to receive nationwide distribution while combining hilarity, star power, high production values, and a pronounced conservative message. This film is thoughtcrime. By rights, it should not exist, and a decade...

They meet discreetly once a month at a restaurant in the Valley. At first, there weren't many--Jon Voight, Kelsey Grammer, Dennis Hopper--but now...there still aren't many. Nevertheless, they're a resolute bunch: proud, loud, and a little lonely. They are Hollywood's conservatives. "You sort of feel like you have to hide it," says director David Zucker. "When you meet, you give each other a secret look--'Are you a Republican too?' It's the new gay." On Oct. 3, Zucker and his lunchmates will out themselves when An American Carol, Hollywood's first unabashedly right-wing comedy, opens in 2,000 theaters. Think Dickens' holiday classic,...

For anyone who has ever been on a movie set, the commotion inside Warner Brothers Studio 15 will be familiar: serious-faced actors and actresses quietly rehearsing their lines; the director of photography huddled with his assistants around two high-definition screens inside a small black tent reviewing the last scenes; extras lounging around the set trying both to stay out of the way and to get noticed; carpenters busily working to construct the set for the next scene; a frazzled first assistant director guzzling Red Bull and yelling instructions to anyone who will listen. "Rolling," he shouts. Others throughout the cavernous...
