Dinosaur fossils kept secret for years show the day of killer asteroid
FoxNews.com ^ | April 1, 2019 | Chris Ciaccia | Fox News

The researchers say they found evidence in North Dakota of the asteroid hit in Mexico, including fish with hot glass in their gills from flaming debris that showered back down on Earth.

They also reported the discovery of charred trees, evidence of an inland tsunami and melted amber.

Additionally, University of Amsterdam professor Jan Smit said he and his colleagues found footsteps from dinosaurs moments before they met their untimely death.

Smit said the footprints — one from a plant-eating hadrosaur and the other of a meat eater, maybe a small Tyrannosaurus Rex — is "definite proof that the dinosaurs were alive and kicking at the time of impact ...

They were running around, chasing each other" when they were swamped.

"This is the death blow preserved at one particular site.

This is just spectacular," said Purdue University geophysicist and impact expert Jay Melosh, who wasn't part of the research but edited the paper released Friday by the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

Melosh called it the field's "discovery of the century."

Despite the incredible finds, other experts in the field have concerns about the work, including the lack of access to this specific Hell Creek Formation fossil site for outside scientists.

Hell Creek — which spans Montana, both Dakotas and Wyoming — is a fossil treasure trove that includes numerous types of dinosaurs, mammals, reptiles and fish trapped in clay and stone from 65 to 70 million years ago.

Othniel Charles Marsh & Edward Drinker Cope fossil hunting crews were said to have gotten into gun fights out west over fossil finds!

Wake me when that happens!

It’s folks taking from two different books and testaments even then saying six days of creation in Genesis and a reference in 2 Peter, “With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day,” means creation has to be 6,000 years old or thereabouts.

More evidence of Trump-Asteroid collusion.

Well you’d need to add up all the patriarchs ages of when each was begotten. Sir Isaac Newton and Bishop Ussher both added it up as approx 4,000 years of old testament. University of Minnesota has a very detailed analysis, but the site below has the best Biblical answers to debate evolution.

Not quite.

It’s from adding up the ages associated with the ‘begats’.

I’m not going to claim to be psychic but, given the number of her complaints and my own extensive experience with Murphy’s Law, I have a sneaking suspicion that the next big killer asteroid is going to land right on my girlfriend’s foot.

A mountain the size of Everest slamming into Earth at 40,000 mph... a very, very bad day for planet Earth.

When I was a child we used to laugh at the sky-is-falling types. It was an amusing child's story, that's all. Everyone knew rocks couldn't fall out of the sky. I certainly knew it. I laughed louder than all the other kids at the idea. Even scientists knew craters on the moon and earth were volcanic in origin.

Now look at us, uncovering actual victims and the horrors they experienced... Fish with their gills completely clogged with beads of glass, mouths agape, trying to breathe. Wow, never imagined that one! Hang on, folks. I bet they discover lots of little unexpected horrors like that that fascinate and kind of make you cringe at the same time.

We have extensive cave paintings on our ranch, located somewhere in the USA. Private land.

Go in for a solid mile. Some are exquisite.

Obvious man-made structures, once you get past the bend, even a ventilation tunnel. Lots of trash pits near the cave entrance, filled with bones of various kinds, literally tons of flint work, and what we think are probably burial remains. We just left all alone, excepting to board over the cave entrances.

My grandfather looked at me, dead serious, when I was 12, and told me to tell NO ONE. Not even a friend.

He said it, to let it be known was the quickest way for us to get our ranch confiscated by the federal government.

We finally let our kids see them when they were adults.

Easy answer, Genesis has genealogy information listed. Running a calculation based on this and other historical information in the Old Testament runs around 6000yrs.

including fish with hot glass in their gills from flaming debris

So, the dinosaurs had the technology to make glass? Did the asteroid strike a glass bottle factory?
