"The accident occurred at 10:30 a.m. as the woman, believed to be in her mid-20s, returned home from a night out"
Hell of a long night out.
Although, if she's typical her "night out" starts about 3:00 a.m. when she got off work.
We're already on it......
Ya think?
At least the script of "CSI: Miami" where they showed a guy falling/tossed from an apartment building.
she should have tried her air bags....
George Hamilton once
hypnotized his girl friend and
made her believe that
when she was jumping
off her balcony she would
dive into a pool . . .
Not among the sharpest tools in the drawer...
You beat me by 8 seconds.
Plummeting can be hazardous - nah thats easy, its the quick stop that will get ya.
The best part of the story is that this dingbat lived on the fourth floor yet she somehow managed to fall from the roof before attempting to scale down the building to her residence.
I'm just glad she didn't kill a truly innocent person on the ground.

"scale her way into her locked apartment Sunday morning ended in tragedy when she fell to her death from the roof an 11-story building...."

I think there are a number of FReepers who might be interested in initiating a "Safe Harbor" program, similar to what you see in many downtown areas, where participating business agree to allow unaccompanied minors to take sanctuary in their stores while the parents or police are summoned. Participating FReepers could post little "Exotic Dancer Overnight Shelter" signs on their windows on doorways, indicating that they are willing to accept visits from any poor unfortunate attractive young females who might have locked themselves out of their apartments at 2:00 in the morning.
If it saves just one young woman, it will be worth it!
A pair of "Boobs" as a headstone for this genius would seem fitting.
PS: I worked the door for the Cheetah III, 35 years ago. This story wouldn't have surprised me then either. But ohhhh what a funeral.:-)
R.I.P. Young Lady.
I guess you could say that the last thing that went thru her mind was the sidewalk.
Aren't you confused with The Blotter Episode?
As a result, all apartment buildings in Miami will be forced by local code to stencil apartment numbers on the balcony rails of each unit, so another senseless tragedy where somebody winds up climbing past their floor and falling can be avoided.
