E mails poured in from across California.
“My boys’ minds have been taken over by the liberal teachings of the schools here,” wrote a woman from Westlake Village who works in the courts. “I would like to try to save my younger son before it’s too late.”
“I for one wish to not be a part of this control and socialist environment,” said a woman from Vacaville who home-schools her children and complained that California liberals ridiculed her for praying before meals.
“I’m done,” announced a financial planner from Monrovia who complained she was struggling to find common ground with her co-workers. “I want my next chapter in life to be one where I’m in an environment where people are like-minded.”
Fed up with life in the Golden State, the emailers wanted out.
So they turned to Paul Chabot, a 43-year-old Republican who says he’s discovered the perfect place for them: Collin County in north Texas.....

I don’t blame them for wanting to escape the left coast. I just hope this sort of California Republican is truly similar to the Texas type of Republican. What’s “conservative” in California may or may not be “conservative” according to the South, depending on the specific people in question. Coming to blend in is one thing; carpetbagging is another. I hope they know the difference.

If you are in Texas, you need to take a look around, because Texas is on the fast track to becoming just like California. And it isn’t because of people moving there from California. There is not a nickel’s worth of difference between your major cities and places like LA and SF, and when you look at the Rio Grande Counties ( now two deep from the river), they are run by Mexican RATs. So Texas is well on it’s way to being just like California, you just don’t want to admit it.

I’m still holding out hope that I’ll be able to put California in my rear view mirror within the next 4 or 5 years and relocate to a simpler life in the South Pacific. Be a coconut farmer and grow vegetables and raise livestock. Swim in the clear warm waters.

Grew up in Texas and moved back into Fort Worth years ago. I’ve left since but on my block in Keller we had a family from Missouri, one from Jersey, and one from India. Guess how most of them voted.
If you want to see the future of Texas look at what happened in Nevada, Colorado, and soon Arizona. Between illegals and democrat imports it’s going to get bad.
