Aruba has a monster on its' hands and it serves them right.
The only thing someone in Aruba COULD do would be to tell what happened to Natalee and where she was put but in so doing they would ABSOLUTELY HAVE to make arrangements to immigrate to the United States. I'll bet that if someone could actually give Beth, Dave and Jug the TRUE answers that she could receive some peace from that. Who knows, that person, may even collect the reward especially if they could somehow verify it.
In any event, Aruba has a whopper of a black eye and I don't believe for a minute that their tourism industry has only dropped 3.7%!! Those beaches look pretty darn empty. Also they are not acting like people who have had a slight drop in visitors. They appear to be in perpetual panic mode. May it continue. Even the cruise lines are avoiding them.
I would add only one thing to Joran's fantasy and control - that is his arrogance in that HE believes he can get away with it ad infinitem!!
An Island that has to threaten to murder the mother of her MURDERED daughter on THEIR Island has something very big to hide!! Aruba deserves the harshest of penalties. Their corruption is so transparent a blind man could see it!!
BTT.
This is one time you should watch Greta's rerun.
Tune in at the half hour and watch the next 15 minutes.
Beth shows Natalee's room. Her calender was marked with plans for her future. Her full ride scholarships still sitting on a table.
Three of Natalee's friends are interviewed. They talk about the trip, Natalee, and the emotional ride of this past year. There's some laughter and some tears.
It's very worth watching.
Joran is a true sociopath. He feels neither remorse nor guilt
_____________________
I'm reading the posts backwards to catch up - this caught my eye. On one of the crime news magazine type shows this weekend they were showing Chris Longo - and someone described him as a sociopath - and said "sociopaths know that they SHOULD feel bad for something" but can't quite get the actual emotion.
I think that's true of Joran - he knows he should feel bad that he had a part in her murder - but he has no idea how to raise that emotion up - and guilt just isn't part of his make up - so what is left? No remorse, no guilt? What else do you do, except the same behavior.
If he is truly a sociopath, why doesn't he have any apparent history of doing this sort of thing. He has a clean criminal record, and I haven't heard anything from Aruba that says he's a bad person.
As he matures sexually, what was anti social behavior (problems with authority, getting into fights, misdemeanor crimes ) now becomes predatory behavior. Joran is on the hunt and he couldnt live in a more ideal place. Natalee is not his first victim but she is probably his first kill. ALE is acutely aware of Jorans' " problems ". Paulus has told them he is sick and they are trying to help him. Besides, they dont have any real evidence of a crime so it is much easier to ignore this investigation and hope that it goes away. THAT has been their strategy for a year now and it has worked.
Finding Natalees' remains, there is no longer a body, could resolve this case. But, even if Joran could be tied to the murder, the liberal Dutch system would find that he is ill and not responsible for his behavior. He would be placed in a hospital for the criminally ill in Holland, pronounced " cured " after a couple of years and released.Stupid liberals. He will kill again. John Douglas says there is only one thing you can do with a serial killer," Blow them out of their ***king shoes." I agree.
Tick..... Tick...... Tick.
Get Lost ! NOW.
YOU HAVE MAIL.
I am not defending Joran. You just made a charge that he is a pschopath or sociopath with no evidence behind it.
You sound like a stooge of some sort.
Send me links proving that Joran has been wetting the bed, playing with fire, and extreme cruelty toward animals.
If you do, then I will be more respectful of your opinon.
Everyone seems to think that Joran was quite the lady's man, not a sociopath. I've never heard that word used about Joran on Fox or MSNBC or CNN.
I guess you must be a psychologist too?
Signed on Dec. 30, 05. Well, the mask is off now isn't it. Why dont you tell us who you really are. Your sentence structure, syntax, indicate you are foreign. Aruban?
you have mail
three island girls, one as young as fourteen, came forward very early in the investigation, and part of the civil suit includes this and is the core for JQK's claim that joran is a sexual predator: they claimed to have been date raped by the innocent, honest and upstanding joran--can you believe it?...aruban detective dennis jacobs handled this aspect of the case and the girls quickly went away----JQK is reincarnating the evidence jacobs attempted to bury, dead and gone (one of his island talents within the ALE)
I've never heard that word used about Joran on Fox or MSNBC or CNN.
Asked what FBI profilers told Dompig about van der Sloot's psychological profile, he says, "They use the word sociopath. And the fact that he was capable of lying about basically everything."
