Mysterious Inscription on the Great Pyramid

The inscription shown below occurs above the original entrance of the Great Pyramid.  I don't think it is original, but it could be relatively old.  If you have any idea what it may mean, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you.

Not much of a match, because the Greek alphabet is nearly two thousand years younger than this inscription may be. If graffiti, and postdating to the medieval opening of the ancient entrance, what language? what script? what's it say?

I believe that the reason there may have been fewer stones than originally thought was due to incorporation of some of the rock base into the pyramid and the use of rubble fill and even sand in portions of the interior. Or so I have read.

The grafitti artist was hanging by his toes... or the inscription was done before they turned the finished pyramid over.

The web site labels the image you used as a negative. Odd. If that's true, the characters were "built up" as opposed to being carved into the rock. From the original(non negative), it almost looks like caulking or epoxy. Which is really weird.

As for the translation, ahem: "Pyramids Built On Your Lot, 1-800-PYR-AMID"

Its the front end of an automobile with the passenger door open
