Glenn Beck supports gay marriage.

Well, well, well Glenn Beck, who I like, just clarified his position on gay marriage. He is in full support of gay marriage. He was interviewed by the New York Times magazine. They brought up his stance on gay marriage.

"How did your fans respond to your support of gay marriage?

I don’t care. The point is that government shouldn’t be involved in marriage.

Did you hear any reaction?

Can we stop dividing ourselves? Do racists exist? Yes. Do bigots exist? Yes. But most of us are not. Most Americans just want to get along. Why can’t we do that? What has happened to us? "

Nice of him to not care to opposite opinions. I then found this:

Glenn Beck And S.E. Cupp Agree That GOP Must Accept Gay Marriage, But How?

When the guy say he is more and more libertarian each day well he means it.

I don't support libertarians. Or else I would be libertarian and not conservative. They are not one and the same. But I try to agree with them where I can. I get libertarians are all about state deciding this issue on their own. But they support it and they say the let the states decide it to not offend the GOP and conservatives who they need to win any elections. Like with Rand Paul. Evoke state rights on every social issue.

As for Glenn, he side-stepped the second questions. He knows it hurts him his stance.

Apparently I support gay marriage too.

If Glenn Beck think two men can form a marriage, it is probably related to the reason why he was able to leave the Catholic Church for Mormonism: a defective understanding of theological anthropology. He’s a great student of history but a poor understanding of theology. Just needs more study in this area.

A-hole should know this is not about gay rights. It’s about destroying America via destroying the cornerstone of moral values in a once moral country, the family unit. Hence destroying the Boy Scouts, the military etc. Dumbass

Beck is a Libertarian and takes no moral stands on “social issues”. That’s why I stopped caring what he said about anything.

In nearly all former alcoholics the elevator doesn’t go ll the way to the top. Remember how even George Bush ended up nominating Harriet Miers to a seat on the US Supreme Court.

Newsflash:

Glenn (sideshow) Beck will support anything that advances the Glenn Beck brand and will make him money.

Yeah all signs pointed that Glenn Beck was heading this direction for a few years with that segment on Real News last December being the clearest example. But if one had any doubt he would change his mind, was just pandering to Cupp who is a gay marriage activist, or was wishy-washy on the issue, well he just made it clear in his latest interview.

Don't insult former alcoholics.

Beck is a sensationalist self-promoter, and Bush became out of touch after being in D.C. so long.

Plenty of idiots have never had alcohol problems, and plenty of former alcoholics are strong, smart, conservative people.

Gay marriage is a conflict of terms!

Marriage MUST remain a union between a man and a woman otherwise the term is meaningless.

If on the other hand someone wants to coin a new word for sexual deviants to form some kind of a union do it and don’t destroy marriage for normal people. Homarriage is available.

Their crotch centric life style should not be allowed to destroy the meaning of marriage.

"Glenn Beck And S.E. Cupp Agree That GOP Must Accept Gay Marriage, But How?"

"Must", huh?

Let the GOP-e accept it if they want. But I will never agree that two perverted men abusing one another's filthy anal areas, nor two sick women playing with sex toys, is anything remotely near "marriage." What Glenn Beck, S.E. Cupp, or anyone else thinks of the matter doesn't make a damn to me.

I know very little of Rand Paul except hes a libertarian.
They are amoral on social issues, take no exceptions for laws that promote or protect the family. Therefore they are all for libertine sexual liberties, legalization of drugs and more. All on the basis of Libertarian ideology, and its all up to us to individually fend for our families and children...educate and protect our children against these things without the assistance of the law and the culture. Ron Paul, Rand Pauls father, has certainly been all these things

Now certainly I’ve heard Rand Paul talk of ‘family issues’
and posture a bit....but Libertarianism can be dangerous.

Notice the Families & Children issues are empty.
But liberal on drug legalization.

I don’t dislike Rand and I agree with him sometimes. But he was on quest to promote libertarian social issues back in the winter and early spring before immigration reform, his drone strike filibuster, NSA stuff and Syria. he spoke about it at CPAC. He sounds to me like a paleo conservative-libertarian mix of some sort. But on social issues he is more like his father. That has been my take on him.

Any public figure supposedly “on our side “ who does not vociferously oppose this crap is dead to me.

Likewise. The government got involved in marriage in the first place because it was a money making business, selling licenses, registrations and the like.

Now that they can no longer even competently define marriage, they need to get out of the business and turn it back over to the churches.

Beck is not a great student of history, he barely knows what he is talking about.
