Ann was still on Mercer Island in 1959 and 1960 until after graduation in June of 1960.
I don’t really want to use this to get into a bunch of the detail about all of these Hawaii factual discrepancies.
As to exactly what happened with respect to Stanley Ann and Mercer Island, the record is a little fuzzy and hard data is still not accessible. You would need to get into University of Chicago records to confirm Fred’s thesis however I think Fred is correct.
Stanley’s normal high school schedule would have been: 9th grade (Freshman) 56-57; 10th grade (Sophomore) 57-58; 11th grade (Junior) 58-59; and Senior, class of 1960, 59-60.
Seattle Public Schools records are a mess on the topic of exactly when Mercer Island High School was open to the specific classes. Initially, it was a Seattle Public school and opened its first year to sophomores and juniors, probably the 56-57 year and those kids were the first graduating class in 58.
Mercer Island later opened as its own school district and many records were transferred and preserved. Further, as to future classes, in the 56-57 school year, kids who were resident on the island were entered as Mercer Island High School students at more than one other location. Many of those students attended Franklin High School in Columbia City in 56-57 and 57-58.
The record makes it appear pretty likely that Stanley Ann was in fact physically located at the school on Mercer Island during her junior year, 58-59.
Madelyn and Stanley Armour essentially were transferred to Hawaii in the summer of 59.
Fred’s thesis is that Stanley Ann was early admitted to a combined degree program at University of Chicago in the fall of 1959 where she attended at least the 59-60 year for which she received her Mercer Island diploma as a member of the class of 1960.
The combined degree programs were very common in the 50’s and 60’s to advance promising students ahead of grade to get them into grad schools at younger ages. Many of those students were at the University of Washington as early admits in that period.
I think based on the period of her subsequent attendance at University of Hawaii in which she got her degree (actually issued in the summer of 1967 with no record of any attendance beyond 1966) by going to class from March of 1963 to July of 1966 that she probably did much if not all of the 60-61 academic year at University of Chicago.
The only real suggestion that she was ever at U of Hawaii at any time prior to 63 is a letter. The University has never released any transcript of an academic engagement in that period and we think the letter, like much of the rest of Barry’s background is fraudulent.
She really first met Obama Sr. in the fall of 1962 when she and Barry and Obama Sr.’s son were living in a house in Boston owned by Barry’s true father’s sister who was a slumlord in Boston at the time. Stanley and Barry went there exactly as she told Susan Blake in August of 1961.

Uncle Charles and his wife Melanie lived in Hyde Park.
Her Uncle Charles was still at that same university when zero was there as an adjunct lecturer before he attended Harvard.
Stanley Ann Dunham didn't show up in Hawaii until 1963 when she changed her name on Social Security to Ann Dunham Obama , was photographed with zero as a toddler and enrolled at the university in Hawaii.

The answer came from Okubo on Nov. 10, 2009 and was contained in an Acknowledgment to Requester form, which read thus:
This acknowledgment is provided in accordance with section 2-71-13, Hawaii Administrative Rules (“HAR”), because the following extenuating circumstance(s) exist::
X — Agency requires additional time to respond to the request in order to avoid an unreasonable interference with its other statutory duties and functions.
Like most requests for such information, since the end of September when the Department began releasing such — following the threat of a lawsuit from another citizen-researcher — Okubo responds rather quickly with a denial that the information requested is available (if it regards Obama) or an admission that it is, and a release thereof.
In this case, Okubo responded that she needed more time to respond! This response of Okubo contains an obvious evasion. Because it takes less than 5 minutes to type “Steve Dunham” into their database and pull up the index data for such record.
The response that she needed more time indicates what kind of response she had decided to craft.
Guess how long it took her to respond to a 5 minute work assignment?
You guessed it; she responded yesterday, January 11th; but only after being prodded by another email from the same citizen-researcher. Or in other words, she did not want to respond at all, and was hoping the request would be forgotten.
Curious, and perhaps significant, is that between the time the request was made, and the initial “We don’t have the time right now” response was issued by Okubo, Paul Tsukiyama, the Director of the Hawaii Office of Information Practices, who was advising Okubo on how to respond, resigned (Nov. 6, 2009). Could this be because he knew that this one request would burst the dam, and thus, he did not want to be involved in a cover-up?
The Response
Obviously if Obama was born with the name “Steve Dunham,” he could not lawfully bear that name unless his original vital records were amended OR he submitted a change of name through the Hawaiian Courts.
As The Post & Email reported on Sunday, the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of Hawaii has denied any name change requests, made through the courts, exist.
Therefore, if there was a name change it had to be by an amendment of the original vital record.
Therefore, if such a name change was found, the vital record for Obama would technically no longer exist under the name “Steve Dunham.”
So Okubo, under this scenario, would have a legally perplexing problem to solve; if she denied the request for Index data, she could be accused of lying or violating the law; if she admitted a record for a “Steve Dunham” existed for that date, Obama would be exposed, and might retaliate against the Department through withholding funding; a possible threat, which is seemingly indicated by Attorney Joesting, in her letter to Okubo regarding the non-answer to my own UIPA request made at the end of September.
So what did she say in her response, yesterday?
In her official response received by email last night, Okubo denied that there is any index data for a vital record of a birth for a “Steve Dunham”, a “Steven Dunham”, or a “Stephen Dunham.”
It took her 60 days to figure how to respond to a job which required 5 minutes of work. And that in itself, lets you the reader know, what she meant to say: his name is “Steve Dunham”! But “Steve Dunham” does not appear on the current version of Obama’s vital record, so she can deny it, without technically violating the law. If the record never existed, or never contained that name, there would be no reason for the dely in denying it. It’s just that simple.
But for those would won’t accept Obama’s own admission; and who believe Okubo needs to seek 2 months of legal counsel to deny a request for a document that does not and never did exist; no amount of reasoning is necessary.
However, she (Sharon) does go on to assume Soebarkah was born in Mombasa General Coast Hospital.

Kamuela Kala‘i was there to speak up for ancestors in Waimanalo, a Native Hawaiian community in eastern Oahu. In January, workers had found human remains, or iwi kupuna, as they reshaped a multimillion-dollar oceanfront lot into a luxury compound being developed by Marty Nesbitt, the chair of the Obama Foundation and head of a Chicago-based private-equity firm.
The bones were unearthed in an area where the owners were planning a swimming pool and septic system, and they were reburied months later on another part of the property. A state official made the decision to relocate the remains.
Kala‘i was furious with the developers.

After Obama announced for the presidency in 2007, a fellow named Larry Sinclair fueled rumors about Obama’s sexuality when he went public with his allegations of a two-day coke and sex romp with the then-married Obama in 1999. Fearless, if nothing else, Sinclair then booked space at the National Press Club in June 2008 to detail his reputed relationship with Obama.
From the beginning, the mainstream media, including the “responsible” right, pretended Sinclair did not exist. The actual work of extinguishing Sinclair’s credibility was left to the internet’s leftist hitmen. As soon as Sinclair announced plans for the press conference, they launched an internet petition drive demanding the Press Club deny Sinclair its stage.
To its credit, the National Press Club refused to buckle. Sinclair held his conference. In watching it years later, I am impressed by how well Sinclair understood Obama’s hold on the media. If you asked a question about a black man who chose to run for president, he observed, “All of a sudden you’re called a racist, a bigot.”
A genuine character, Sinclair acknowledged up front the various crimes he had committed in years past. He wanted to take that cudgel away from the media. Sinclair then explained in exquisite detail the nature of his alleged 1999 interaction with then-state senator Obama.
He provided dates, the name of the hotel, the name of the Muslim limo driver who arranged the assignation, the specifics of their sexual interlude, as well as insights into the menacing phone calls he received from Donald Young, a member of Reverend Wright’s church and an alleged lover of Obama’s.
More than once during the question and answer period, reporters asked Sinclair, given his “tremendous credibility problem,” why they should take him seriously. In turn, Sinclair asked the reporters “to do your jobs and find facts.” He provided them several useful leads and challenged them to follow up. Sinclair specifically asked the reporters to check Young’s phone records. He believed Obama to be complicit in the choir member’s December 2007 murder, a crime that remains unsolved to this day.
True to form, Politico quickly moved to discredit Sinclair. Its editors headlined their article from the day of the press conference, “Obama accuser has long rap sheet.” In an aside that Trump or Kavanaugh might find amusing, Politico refused to publish Sinclair’s “outlandish” allegations because they were “unsubstantiated.” Wired, meanwhile, ran an article celebrating those leftist bloggers who succeeded in getting Sinclair arrested on an outstanding Delaware warrant just as he was leaving the Press Club.
As should be obvious, the media had stunningly different standards for Sinclair and, say, Stormy Daniels or Christine Blasey Ford. The same media that insisted we “believe the women” were not at all inclined to believe the men, at least not this man.
The same media that insisted “love is love” saw something inherently distasteful in Sinclair’s tale of consensual gay sex. The messenger in this case had to be attacked, exposed, eliminated as a threat, and that he was. To this day, few have ever heard of Sinclair. Fewer still have heard of the late Donald Young.
In fact, so quickly were Sinclair’s allegations trashed and burned, John Heilemann and Mark Halperin did not even mention Sinclair in their comprehensive look at the 2008 campaign, Game Change.
