Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.
The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.
The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.
Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.
McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

I was wondering why that column didn’t sound like the usual prissy snide-fest from Maureen Dowd. It was too serious, without the Junior High School catty remarks.
Someone wanted to put this material in play, but this sure isn’t the way to do it (unless it’s pre-emptive strike from a Soros-groupie who wants to discredit this whole line of inquiry.
That’s the biggest problem - this apparent hoax gets discredited and then all the real scandals of Obama fundraising get ignored because the MSM and RINOs are running scared.

Is it possible that an official COLB from Hawaii would give "Soetoro" as the name for the candidate now known as Barak Obama? Depending upon how he was adopted, that would seem plausible. If that is indeed the case, Barak might argue that the certificate he posted was "fake but accurate" since he obviously wasn't born with the Soetoro name. I doubt the media would care that a "fake but accurate document" is a fake document.

I imagine the media couldn’t care less...I think it’s all about his ego. He’s made up this persona as a black, presented himself as African-American and as BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA - and to be forced to present the public with proof of ID that shows him to be BARRY DUNHAM or BARRY SOETORO - possibly more Kenyan/Indonesian by nationality would blow such a big hole in the created persona, he would be deflated like the balloon full of hot air he really is.

Ah, but if the COLB says "Barry Soetoro" that wouldn't disprove Barack's statement that he was born "Barack Hussein Obama II"; Barack could reasonably(*) claim that the name on the COLB would have confused things, so he wanted to show a birth certificate with the name he was born with.
(*) Well, liberals would think it was reasonable anyway.
I don't really see how the (hypothetical) fact that Barack once bore the name "Soetoro" would hurt him. As such, I don't think liberals would hold a "cover-up" of that information against him. Instead, they'd view conservatives' efforts to pry into such matters as a demonstration that conservatives are evil.

His parents’ marriage took place six months before his birth on February 2nd, 1961. Nine months before Obama’s birth would be early November 1960, about three to four weeks before Ann Dunham’s 18th birthday on November 29, 1960.
It appears that Barack Sr., a married man of about 24, almost certainly impregnated a 17-year-old Dunham.
Barack Obama’s father was not a U.S. Citizen and Obama’s mother was only 18 when Obama was born, which means though she had been a U.S. Citizen for 10 years, (or citizen perhaps because of Hawai’i being a territory) the mother fails the test for being so for at least 5 years **prior to** Barack Obama’s birth, but *after* age 16.
It doesn’t matter *after* . In essence, she was not old enough to qualify her son for automatic U.S. Citizenship. At most, there were only 2 years elapsed since his mother turned 16 at the time of Barack Obama’s birth when she was 18 in Hawai’i.
His mother would have needed to have been 16+5= 21 years old, at the time of Barack Obama’s birth for him to have been a natural-born citizen. As aformentioned, she was a young college student at the time and was not. Barack Obama was already 3 years old at that time his mother would have needed to have waited to have him as the only U.S. Cizen parent. Obama instead should have been naturalized, but even then, that would still disqualify him from holding the office.
*** Naturalized citizens are ineligible to hold the office of President. *** Though Barack Obama was sent back to Hawaii at age 10, all the other info does not matter because his mother is the one who needed to have been a U.S. Citzen for 10 years prior to his birth on August 4, 1961, with 5 of those years being after age 16. Further, Obama may have had to have remained in the country for some time to protect any citizenship he would have had, rather than living in Indonesia. Now you can see why Obama’s aides stopped his speech about how we technically have more than 50 states, because it would have led to this discovery. This is very clear cut and a blaring violation of U.S. Election law."

This would account for the 3 year discrepancy and how they lied in the article and said that he was 3 in 1967. They tried to make it look like he was born in 1964 maybe so that the mother would have been 21 when in fact she was 18.
This I think is it.
Even if he was born in Hawaii the site claims that he isn't eligible.
