Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.
The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.
The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.
Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.
McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

I think that *this* is the crux of the matter. I don't doubt that he was born in Hawaii. I think that his BC could validate the "Obama is a Muslim" arguments that he's trying so hard to beat back. There goes the Jewish vote along with a lot of 9-11 traumatized Americans.

The law you are quoting applies only to births OUTSIDE THE USA! Are you saying that he was born outside the USA?

From Black’s Law Dictionary, Sixth Edition: “Natural born citizen. Persons who are born within the jurisdiction of a national government, i.e. in its territorial limits, or those born of citizens temporarily residing abroad.”

Yes, since your son was born of citizens temporarily residing abroad, as in the military service, then he may become eligible to be president. Of course he must still “have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.”
Two cases in point: (1) George Romney of Michigan who ran for president in 1968. Mr. Romney was born in a Mormon community in Chihuahua, Mexico. His parents were U.S. citizens so he was a natural born citizen. (2) John McCain of Arizona was a candidate in 2000. McCain was born in Panama where his father was stationed in the service, so he would also be “natural born.”
Selling a forgery or using a forgery for some legal purpose are “crimes”. Forging a document is rarely a crime unless that document is MONEY!! (or bearer bonds, or a check).
It is presumed that individuals do not have sufficient information to be able to determine their own "race".

This all could well prove counterproductive. If Hussein was born in Kenya and therefore NOT eligible, it will only establish the precedent that that particular law and constitutional clause is no longer operant. He will not be denied his run nor election even if it proves out that he is actually an adopted Kenyan foundling. Unless the Clintons spring it.If they do it then they will already have their ducks properly arrayed and it just might be able to blow away this particular house of cards.
Moslems ALL give their kids MOSLEM NAMES. There are no exceptions. It just so happens that the fellows who wrote the Koran (not their belief, mine) were all a bunch of Arabs (except for a few stray Persians) and had Arab names. Those Arab names turned into Moslem names, and voila, having an Arab name means absolutely nothing when it comes to ethnicity!
The law assumes the child is NOT a citizen of the US. Else there'd be no need to add the child to a visa since US citizens don't need a visa to be inside the US.
Foreign rules regarding Americans who give birth abroad are comparable.
There are also "status of forces" agreements in many countries and military personnel may be governed differently (regarding the visa deal).
Just quickly looking through the State Department's rules, it doesn't say children have to have a passport (when accompanied by a parent or guardian).
