Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.
The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.
The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.
Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.
McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

No that is lame, because if there was a number, ANYONE could request a Letter Of Verification for all the information on the certificate. The numbers are not "secret". They start out 151 YYYY NNNNNN, with NNNNNN being the number of births up until that point in the year.
A Kenyan “certificate” may mean less than it seems, unless it actually indicates he was born there. I believe that many foreign nationals in the US who marry and have children with a US citizen may still “register” their children with the consulate or embassy of their country of origin. I know first-hand of a couple of cases in which this was done (for other countries, not Kenya).
It may not be saying more than “I Barack, Sr. am a Kenyan national who has fathered this child in America with an American woman and I want him to be eligible for citizenship in my home country of Kenya” — there may be more to it than that, but we should not assume there is any more to it than that.
Americans already know that Barack, Jr. had a Kenyan father, so that would not be the surprise. What may be embarrassing is learning more about whether Obama’s parents were really married or not (I have doubts that they were), his father’s other “wives” (Barack, Sr. fathered children with four different women from what I’ve ready).
There may be one or more facts hidden behind all of this that are more in the area of sensitive family embarrassments than facts that would really affect his eligibility to be POTUS. He’s not responsible for his parents’ behavior any more than anyone else is, and the day when a great stigma attaches to “bastard child” may be well in the past, but it still might not be something he wanted to advertise. Is Obama hiding something else?
Sometimes its easy not to read very well here. Your post doesn't make much sense to me.. but I will reinterate what I said before, any of the the substitute documents are intended to establish the fact that a valid birth certificate could have been issued and/or that the individual is indeed a citizen of the United States.
This is a very different test then the Constitutional test for eligibility to be the President.
But, you keep missing my point. That if an alternate document was used to obtain this passport, then he must have proved first that no birth certificate exists which would be equally damning.

Not to beat a dead horse, but in 2004, in the midst of what they said was an immmense military misadventure by the Bush administration, they passed up a Silver Star winning stud (Clark may be a weasel, but he was a stud back in the day when the bullets were flying) who had been in command positions for decades and instead nominated a guy who had 3 months of useful military experience and had written a book about American helicopter pilots purposefully blowing Vietnamese children in front of trucks with their rotor wash, American soldiers calling in artillery on villages for fun and American Marines standing around watching South Korean Troops cut the fingers off NVA nurses before raping them to death.
The Dems are like Fox Mulder ("I want To Believe") only without a brain. They want to believe that anyone with a D after their name is the lightworker who will destroy the evil BushCo. They do so little questioning that they make Jehovah's Witnesses look like Mike Wallace.

I have never seen a birth certificate that states religion. And I have seen many.
David, Clare McKatskill wrote the bill but it showed those 5 as sponsoring it. It also showed that there were 3 bills and the one I tried to link to was the last one.
Just keep trying that link and maybe it will come up again.
