The Republican Party, the Party of Reagan has been nearly smothered and suffocated by the RINO-virus which has spread more rapidly than any swine flu pandemic, the GOP has been infected from the top down, and IF it is to avoid the fate of the Bull Moose Party, the principles of Reagan conservatism must be re-established, the fair weather collaborators and Quislings (that means YOU Juan McCain and your butt buddy Lindsey 'Goober' Graham!) MUST be driven out and banished and if they join up with the traitorous 'Rats, so be it. Force them to show their true colors.
The Republican National Committee is a major part of the problem. They are mentally entrenched in that ‘go along to get along’ attitude and there is no point in trying to change or reform them. The entire RNC needs to be scrapped, new blood brought in, and start with a clean slate. Michael Steele should be the first one to go, he has been an abysmal failure as Chairman. Ken Blackwell of Ohio would have made a far better Chairman and might yet.
The RNC should be waging 100 percent, 24 hour a day, 7 day a week partisan warfare against the 0bamunist regime and their media lackeys. The spotlight should be kept continuously on Nasty Pelosi and her fascist behavior, ditto for that clown Steny Hoyer. The entire body of House Republicans should be doing everything possible to obstruct, delay, and shut down the ‘Rat agenda and that means throwing everything including the damn kitchen sink at those traitors.
And they should USE that word TRAITOR, for what we see in the House (and the Senate for that matter) is *TREASON*, any piece of legislation which violates the Constitution, which infringes upon the rights of We The People, constitutes TREASON and the word should go out, to the treacherous ‘Rats, to their 0bamunist fellow travelers, to the America-hating left, that TREASON will not be condoned nor tolerated, and we will fight tooth and nail to stop them by any means necessary.
We have witnessed over the past year a fascist regime of questionable legality taking over private businesses, dictating who will, and who will not be permitted to run those businesses, 0bamunist thugs literally attacking good and decent Americans exercising their right to oppose the government’s proposed health care grab, the parallel with Germany of the 1930s cannot be denied by any thinking American.
If the Republican Party is to save America, they have to start by demonstrating that they are NOT going to be part of the ‘business as usual’ garbage as they have been in the past. Otherwise they will seal their own political doom by forcing good conservative Republicans and Independents to form a Third Party. Ronald Reagan himself, a former Democrat said "I didn't leave the Democratic Party, the Democratic Party left me", and there is no shame in emulating the Gipper's wisdom, courage and principles.
The time for ‘bipartisanship’ is over. I reiterate; NOW is the time for ruthless, cutthroat, PARTISAN POLITICAL WARFARE, with no holds barred, no prisoners taken, and it must be waged with utter savagery because the stakes could not possibly be higher.
The stakes are the restoration of our American Republic, or to watch it descend into a socialistic/Communist cesspool from which we may never emerge.
That is what we are faced with.

And if they do, we have to hold their feet to the fire and remind them (on an hourly basis if necessary) that it is NOT ‘business as usual’ and their only duty is to UNdo the damage that has been done to our Constitution by the current regime *AND* past Administrations as well.

And .. just this morning Newt was on FOX bashing Palin .. although very carefully. I could tell by what he said that he was trying to send a msg that “she” was not acceptable to the RINO’s as a candidate in 2012 (even if they know she can win), because she’s NOT ONE OF THEM.
I used to have a lot of regard for Newt, but sadly, I do not support him anymore, and especially not for any elected office. He may be smart - but he’s missing the true anger of the public.
He kept saying Sarah was a “celebrity” and that she could have a good life with that status .. and it would be a lot less work than running for President.
Yet, she has more “governing” experience than Obama .. but Newt never makes that comment about Obama being a “celebrity”. I think the RINO’s are terrified of her and her influence on the American people.
My money’s on Sarah. She’s a whole lot smarter than the RINO’s are giving her credit.

The word also needs to get out that this treasonous behaviour will be prosecuted and punished as treason when the people evict these scum from congress. Moreover, since these scum have lost all fear of whether or not they get re-elected, we need to determine exactly why they have lost this fear. Otherwise we will face this power-grab again and again. Yeah we all know they end up with consultancy/lobbying jobs, but we need to begin prosecutions of obvious ethics violations against these soon to be ex-congressmen, their spouses, and relatives. Corruption has become so endemic in Congress, we can expect little change from anyone we send there, until we stop their ability to profit from their time in congress, else the republic will surely be lost.
On the other side of the political divide, the DNC acts in the service of Progressive causes because it is tethered, financially and otherwise to a vast left-wing network composed of private organizations, unions, government officials, foundations, media outlets and individuals.
Republicans have no such infrastructure on which to rely, and thus lack a coherent strategy or message which might otherwise be advanced by a dominant and dynamic party leadership, which is also absent at the present time.
Well .. that’s not exactly true.
While they did spend .. a lot of it was FOR THE WAR IN IRAQ - should we be angry about that ..?? I don’t think so.
And .. while we’re pointing fingers, Obama has spent more in ONE YEAR - THAN ALL THE OTHER PRESIDENTS PUT TOGETHER.
So .. let’s not be so willing to hang the GOP just yet.
I’d vote for most of the GOP any day over a dem. The majority of GOP’ers have no plans to subvert the current system of govt .. while the majority of dems do. Let’s not allow a few left-leaning GOP’ers ruin the whole batch.

Good points, although I noticed that when referring to the GOP, you continually refer to them as ‘they’. Does that mean that you aren’t involved in your local or state party?
Seriously, it’s much easier than most people think. Here in our county, conservatives have taken over the party apparatus by getting involved and working. It was easy, because the RINOS who ran it before didn’t do any work, and were quite willing to step aside and let the workers take over. Now the conservative workers are in charge, with a conservative party chairman. If that happened all over the country, the McCain’s and Crists of the world would never get to first base.
It’s up to conservatives to put their money, and time, where their mouths are. Attending a TEA PARTY rally is great, but it’s uselss if you don’t follow up and really get involved.

Maybe not as long as some people think. I was in the feed store the other day and overheard two old timer farmers talking about Obama and the state of affairs with our gubmint. To look at these guys you would think they were as apolitical as it gets. However, I heard the "R" word, as in revolution, invoked several times. I also heard many negative things said about Dims. Both these guys are clearly paying attention. Surprised and delighted me all at the same time.....

You’ll be interested in reading a blog at Drkatesview. It states that Obama wants that “Northern military force” (can’t remember what its called) upped to l million in preparation for the civil war he is expecting. What is happening to our country?
How is it that most of these people we send to Washington are not multi-millionaires when they go in, but “come out” with millions? (I know the answer.) I have given it much thought. I believe there should be an audit of assets for any newly elected congressman, etc. i.e. an entrance audit. There should be periodic audits while in office. THEN an exit audit when they leave. If more than “reasonable” profits have been made during those times, INVESTIGATE, prosecute if necessary. All unreasonable gain should be returned to the taxpayer. By “reasonable” gains I mean the same reasonable return that you and I would be granted on our income and investments for the same period of time.
Wise words my friend. I have been saying the same for a year. We must clean out the GOP or—if we can not because they have the Democrat Power disease—we will be forced to go 3rd Party. This time—if we have no other choice—we must do the 3rd party option right. The threat of a Conservative Party should be enough to wake up the GOP. If it is not we must build a new new party ever mindful of all the problems 3rd parties have faced over the last two hundred years.
1. No Ego Trip Presidential runs (like Ross Perot) We need good leaders who are real conservatives.
2. It should be a real party with people running for all sorts of offices—not just the top spots.
3. It must be a real reform party with a solid platform of real changes to root out corruption.
4. It must stand for something (Like the GOP once did)like Low Taxes, No Alien Amnesty, Real jobs, and no PC.
5. No big tent—we are who we are like R, Reagan.
6. We need to attract the best and the brightest from all walks of life. From all fields.
7. This new Party must have its own “Contract with America” or better yet “A Conservative Manifesto”.
8.The 3rd Party must stand for something—not trying to win over all special interests.
9. It will need all the trappings of a party—an Animal Mascot—(How about a rattlesnake?) and a slogan (How about “Don’t Tread on me”)
10. It must not be seen as a fringe party with narrow goals but one that can spead the message of real change. I like the idea of Citizen Politicians. People who will serve for a limited time rather than people who will make a lifetime career of politics.
11. We need a media organ— a Conservative Newspaper to tell our side of the story and feature Conservative solutions to our problems. A Radio network might be good as well.
12. We need to be POSITIVE about America—there is too much that is negative in our world today. We need to follow Reagan’s footsteps. America is great and can solve any problem if we but put our minds to it. Personally, I would like to see a large (as big as a half dollar) Dollar coin minted with Reagan on the coin! I would like to see a Rushmore like carving of Reagan gracing a hillside in the west, and finish that Crazy Horse Monument too while we are about it! These projects would provide jobs for Americans. The last are just my ideas.

There is a bipartision commission being setup to recommend raising middle class taxes (as well as minor spending cuts) to 'fix the deficit' , to get Obama off the hook. BoB promised us over and over that his spending was free. This is Republicans test.

We will get back our Constitutional Government but it might take many years of hard work. The far left socialists with some in our Republican party have totally lost sight of what made our Country great. It’s more than “curious”. It’s amazing that one lady gov from AK could cause all the “big boys” to shudder in their boots.
But .. her actions in AK regarding the corrupt repubs is probably the reason most of them are afraid of her.
Her willingness to weed out corruption (no matter what party) is what America needs. The repubs need a good house-cleaning and I think she’s just the lady to do it.
Just think; you are called to the office of the President and there you are told what they know about you - and you are given a choice - resign or we’ll go public - and if you don’t cut all ties to the govt., we’ll expose you. I know that’s intimidation, and maybe more, but it’s so necessary. After a few of those meetings, I’ll guarantee you people will either clean up their act or they will resign before they ever have such a meeting.
Most of our current repubs don’t have the stomach for cleaning up the mess. I think Sarah does, and I also believe this terrifies the repubs who know they are breaking the law and they don’t want to be exposed.
They won’t have learned a blessed thing.
