I was asked a question on the Glenn Beck show today regarding my thoughts on the so-called 9/11 truth movement. I have never been involved with the 9-11 truth movement, and there is no doubt in my mind that Muslim terrorists flew planes into those buildings on 9/11. I have not seen any evidence nor have I ever believed that our government was involved or directed those individuals in any way....

Um, no. You said the following (and I'll admit I didn't read the rest of your post initially):
The US is not immune to evil. But there is no credible evidence that the US purposefully had anything to do with 9/11.
If your argument is that the government could have done things to prevent it, that’s not “truther”, that’s just the truth, but is beside the point.
You treated what was, IMHO, a wacko "truther" post, with dignity and seriousness and answered in your classic and somewhat pompous way, giving the post (which a lot of people are still WAITING for an answer to) credibility (and plausible deniability)!!!
Okay, I'm better now. I'll let of few others weigh in on whether I'm off base or not. I'm willing to be told I'm wrong.
I’d like to comment, but I’m fighting with my neighbor who insists Michael Jackson faked his death. This could take a while.
So my sin was to treat another person with dignity and to attempt to ascertain their intent, while expressing my opinion that what was said was unsupportable?

You have to understand that for some Tea Party folk, you have to be 100% hard core fundamentalist, pro-life, no-tax, kick-out all immigrants, all Muslims are bad, God-fearing, George Bush-loving, quad.50-owning, Sarah Palin-worshipping registered Republican.
