Samantha Power is the Special Assistant to President Obama. She has his ear and advises him on foreign policy, amongst other things. In a video newly discovered, she states that the United States should spend "billions" on a "new" Palestinian state, while putting troops on the ground to support that effort...
Here is a partial transcript (emphasis mine):
Power- What we need is a willingness to actually put something on the line in, sort of, helping the situation. And putting something on the line might mean alienating a domestic constituency of tremendous political and financial import. It may, more crucially, mean sacrificing, or investing more than sacrificing literally billions of dollars not in servicing Israeli military but actually investing in the new state of Palestine; in investing billions of dollars it would probably take also to support, I think, what will have to be a mammoth protection force...a meaningful military presence because, it seems to me at this stage, and this is true of actual genocides as well and not just major human rights abuses which we're seeing there, but is that you, you have to go in as if you're serious.
You have to put something on the line and unfortunately, imposition of a solution on unwilling parties is dreadful... but sadly, you know, we don't just have a democracy here either. We have a liberal democracy... but [Israel] requires external intervention.

Note the emphasis on " ALL the people of the EARTH" at the end of verse 3
“..and the American people will string these people up.”
No we won’t...if we try to protest for a regime change here, no mercy will be shown, and the rest of the world will support King Obama. People will get “disappeared” like in S. American, Chinese, N. Korena, Soviet regimes. Protesters will be slaughtered. Just my opinion.

Oh, I well understand that. In fact I'm having the same problem in reverse. I'm trying to convince three of my four nephews to carefully consider leaving the US, since I've been long seeing things that do not augur well for them, and their families to stay (they're Jewish). I'm pretty certain that they either don't see, or are ignoring the warning signs of an impending change that could well threaten them, their wives, and children. A pretty tough situation, all the way around...

Considering the events that are happening, those passages are pretty scary.
I enjoy pundits, especially liberal lawyers and politicians, that have to obfuscate what they mean. When I first saw this on Pamela Gellar's site, it was painful to watch and felt like it was three times longer than it actually was.
Just say what you mean Susan! You are an anti-Semite and want to destroy Israel. Why all the verbal gymnastics? And I really don't care for the arrogance. Who the heck is she to dictate what should be done to a sovereign nation? What qualifies her to make any national or foreign policy decisions in the first place? I don't recall her name on any ballot. Have we really turned over our foreign policy to amateur hacks like this troll? - Don't answer, I know we have.
