If her commentary was to be only a reflection on the merit of John McCain, then I am not unhappy they pulled her.

... to reflect on what a biased media unfairly put him through four years ago tonight.

Given his comment that "You have nothing to fear from an Obama presidency", he deserves everything he got.

It would have been a mistake to allow Palin on to sing praises to the mad hatter.

No one (me) wants to hear about this weak ass RINO.

When she still continues to carry water for McCain, it kills her credibility for me in drips and drabs. I was never terribly comfortable with her for some reason to begin with, but anyone flacking for John McCain at this point in history leaves many questions.

I could not care less about what Sarah or anybody else has to say about Juan McLame.

Sarah is just way too smart for me. She was on Levin last night and I could hardly understand a thing she was saying y’know?

I know she criticized the GOP rules change coup quite extensively last night on the Mark Levin radio show.

She said if it is not Romney, it is definitely his people behind it.

I wonder if this is the reason?

She’s being gracious and magnanimous with JMcC, in spite of the differences they surely must have had. I do believe it has to do with the ‘zealot’ remark, with her spoken discomfort with the RNC’s end-run around the conservative delegates, perhaps, and with the Beltway Republicans’ discomfort with Sarah. Our dear Sarah.

I counsel the RNC that this week they should absolutely work to unify the party - it will be a fractious fall, and the less they buy into Obama’s rhetoric about the Tea Party being the loony fringe, the better it will be for all.

While Faux News pisses me off sometimes, they are the only partially convservative news source out there...that said, it is politically stupid to criticize them in this light. Palin is savvy, but there is a knee jerk reaction streak in her sometimes that disappoints...this would have been one to let go and not point out. McPain is a jackass pompous a-h and her support for him has worn on me...

I don’t know what this particular thing is about, but with the nomination of Mitt Romney, conservatism may have been proven to be in it’s last throes.

We still have a lot of struggling and smaller victories left, but we may be finished as far as ever playing a leading role in the GOP goes.

Romney/Rockefeller won.

Well, I don’t agree with her about McCain. But she’s just being gracious.

As for interviewing him at the convention, I don’t see why that would mean much, one way or the other. At the moment, McCain is irrelevant.

I’d be more interested in the possibility that she was going to interview other people there of greater current significance, and Fox cut her off for that—possibly at Romney’s demand.

I think Romney wants to keep her far away from the Convention. And Fox would probably comply.

Sarah has no bigger supporter here than I.

After Romney loses and the party fractures, I will be on her team.

But - she’s been fighting a war with Team Romney for years, and she’s lost this round decisively. It’s too bad, I think I understand why she’s played this the way she has, but if you don’t fight to win, you can’t cry when you lose.
