I would imagine that at a genetic level, no one is a racial purebred. If all of us look back far enough, we will find that a thousand or so years ago, some conquering warrior "bred" with a local woman. A nobleman bred with a peasant girl. A master bred with a slave girl, etc, etc, etc.
I think if they’d done DNA testing in 1940....around ten percent of the accepted “German” society...would have failed the test because they had markers.
Including a certain Austrian corporal.
Possibly including one prominent German "leader" (Führer in German).
Some might argue we all link back to Noah or his progeny.
I noticed a few years ago that Einstein made the list of the top 50 Germans ever in a poll by a popular German magazine, though he was warned by his friend, the German consul in New York, while planning to his return to Germany in 1938, that if he showed up in Berlin they’d drag him through the streets by his hair.
Einstein was one of the 50 most prominent Germans ever, even though their grandparents would have considered him an Untermensch.
I wonder if Hitler’s hairbrush also survived? Among the surviving SS files are Hitler’s own file — even der f’ had his ancestry investigated, and more than once, when he was suspected to have Jewish forebears. Thanks Olog-hai.

Maybe, but the rumors associated with that (his mom sleeping with her Jewish boss) have been soundly debunked by a simple review of calendars, among other obvious things.

I think this is a publicity stunt and hogwash. I don’t understand the need for historians and/or others to make Adolph Hitler Jewish, and now Eva Braun Jewish. Oh and Joseph Goebbels. Geez. Does it really make a difference to anyone, and if so why? Hitler is dead and can’t be “punished” by being called Jewish, nor can Eva Braun, except for maybe in some books or magazines that are not based on real facts in the first place in order for someone to make a buck off of it. There is no proof to be had that either were Jewish. None. Only assumptions and innuendo. One should just hate Hitler for what he did without the embellishment. Geez. How much of history has been twisted or made up for similar political reasons. Throughout history is my guess. Historians with agendas.
The same can apply to today’s politicians. Look how the Obama regime and Dems in general make things up out of whole cloth. And liberals in general nowadays write the history books. I want my facts verifiable and straight up, thank you.
