This is also the place to post contact information, prayers and general discussion.

FL_Engineer suggested that if you have something that qualifies as BREAKING NEWS or FRONT PAGE NEWS, please post it on a separate thread in that category in order to give it maximum exposure and then post a link to the article/thread here so that it will be included in the next update of links. Also, if you post links to articles from original sources and there is also a thread on FR, please link to the FR thread. Many original links become corrupt over time and we want to be able to access the information at will.

What do you bet that MS retained the services of George Felos for his parents? His mom was AGAINST Terri being starved-dehydrated to death. I wonder if she was starved-dehydrated herself but she had a terminal illness so maybe she just quit eating naturally towards the end.

I wonder why Terri stopped treating at Mediplex. Maybe she was actually making progress and that was against Michael's wishes.

Did you notice in that stpetetimes article, where they declared Terri Schiavo Day, there was a paragraph about "making donations"? Michael has always milked Terri's condition for MONEY.

Problem is that Terri's parents objected as well, to this particular guardian ad litum, because he is obviously biased in favor of the pro-death camp and was against Terri's Law. How then, can he make objective judgements? It seems like a mere legal technicality to me.

Sorry, JP. I am just feeling particularly discouraged tonight. I pray this will pass. Maybe it is because of all Hallows Eve and the peaking of the powers of darkness and all that, in which case it will begin to wane soon. It will not, however, change how painful it is to ponder the depths to which humanity has plunged. We shouldn't even be having this discussion! Terri is not the only one in need of a miracle. We need a miraculous move of God to sweep the nation. Anything less will be ignored, even as Terri's plight is being largely ignored.

The internet and people are also being watched and probably were camcorded and id'd. And Felos has the nerve to call the Legislature and Jeb Bush "Big Brother."

A Guardian for whom? Dr. Jay Wolfson of Tampa is being considered by the circuit courts for appointment as Guardian ad Litem to Terri Schindler-Schiavo. Dr. Wolfson has already publicly stated his objection to Terri's Law and, therefore, may have a settled bias in the matter. The suggestion of bias is here (PDF Format)

"Supreme Court's Calder v. Bull decision indicates there's nothing in the U.S. Constitution that prohibits a state legislature from ordering a new trial in a civil case. The Florida legislature could order a new trial in this case under a new legal regime for this sort of case that it passes at the same time, prospectively (for the future)."

That could be an approach we might use in addressing the legislators. Should we renew our letter writing and calling efforts asking them to consider this action?

Guess it's time to research Judge Demers. I can't recall his first name at the moment. If he's a golfing buddy of Greer, it wouldn't surprise me. If he's ever been on the Hospice Board, it wouldn't surprise me. If he's in bed with Stetson Law College who already made a public statement that Terri's Law was unconstitution, it wouldn't surprise me.

You know what? Whenever I get to that site, it won't let me get all the way to the info. It says something about being on AOL prevents them from giving me access. Oh well! Thanks anyway. Just keep me posted on what you turn up, okay?

If Terri wasn't doing okay, someone would have called me. I get calls every day and Pops Schindler misses the 500 or so folks who dropped by for two weeks in a row to show support for Terri.

I'm going to try to drop by Hospice tomorrow and will make it a point to say hello to the Schindlers. I don't ask them questions though. The media is always quizzing them. They just need to know that we're still with them.

Underwriting doesn't take up much space but I don't think that MS and Jodi are running a claims office or even an agency. I'm betting it's an underwriting operation. Underwriting is kind of hard to explain. I recommend a google search instead of asking me. I don't want to get it wrong, but I know you can do that out of a home.
