So glad to hear your mom came through everything alright. I will offer up my prayers and communion today for her. God is good and his mercy is endless. God Bless you and your mom.

Thank you for your prayers for Ryan, he is one of my three (grandchildren) joys in life.

Moma is in a regular cardiac room, very sore occasionally, but most of the time her pain is in control. We're still waiting on the pathology report.

But, I am grateful to God for how well she's doing, the fact that she survived the surgery and that the tumor appears to have be local, not spread.

And thank you, my friends!

Just want to let everyone know how much all your thoughts and prayers meant to me. Thank you all so very much.

Ryan had his tests. One of the tests was an eeg. My daughter didn't want him sedated so in order to do the test she had to have him sleep deprived. He went in for a nap at 2:30 pm and got up at 5:30. She then had to keep him up til 2:00 am. They went for a walk at midnight so the air could help him stay awake. Since his favorite thing in the world is to paint, when they came home he was tired. She said "but Ry, I bought you a surprise ... a new paint set and he did that til 2:00 am. He was completely exhausted. She then had to get him up at 5:00 am for the hour's ride to the hospital. Half way there, she could see he was starting to close his eyes. She said "Ry", you can't go to sleep we have to make plans for your Birthday party (in a few weeks). He immediately started telling her who he wanted to invite, and all the stuff about ice cream and cake, etc. They arrived at the hospital with Ryan awake. (whew)!

The nurses got Ryan prepared for the tests and he asked if the electrodes were going to hurt his head. The nurse said you put one on and take it off, it won't hurt. He did so, and he said "nope, didn't hurt, go ahead. Mommy gave him a blanket and told him he could get as snug as a bug in a rug. He laid down on the table at 8:15 am and was asleep by 8:20am. The nurse said he was so good she'd like to take him home.

We won't know the results til next week when the Doctor returns from vacation. But I will post to let you all know what the results are.

God has blessed us with Ryan, and brought him through heart surgery and a stroke. I'm praying medicine can help him now. And accept that it truly is in God's hands.

Thank you, Freepers, for always being there.

It's difficult for a parent to deprive their child of sleep or food for some tests. It goes against our nature.

I'm glad little Ry's tests are over.
I will pray unto the Lord for good results.

Heavenly Father, we return with thankful hearts that Ryan's testing went so well ... may Your assurance fall mightily upon this family as they await the results. May it be, Merciful Father, that the simple administration of medicine would alleviate Ryan's symptoms, that he might continue to strengthen unto the time of complete health. Thank You for standing guard over this precious child and his family, for You have blessed them beyond measure. In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...

How touching is the story of what your little "Ry" and his mommy went through. And what a trooper "Ry" is!! God love and bless them both SB. There is NOTHING that touches us as deeply as that of a child in need.

We continue our prayers for little Ryan, and you and your entire family.

We pray that his tests will be positive and helpful and that he will once again continue to gain strength and heal fully.

Go Ryan Go!!

I never thought I'd have a prayer request for Logan's miracle room, but I do. My nephew, Matt and his wife Denise gave birth to Madelynn Diane a couple of weeks ago. Because of Denise's toxemia, they had to take Madelynn by Caeserian at 26 weeks. She's hanging in there and has come over a couple of rough spots; one being a valve in her aorta which would have closed during a normal birth at term didn't do so with the emergency C-section. I haven't heard from my brother (Grandad) in the last week, so I'm assuming it's all still ok, but I'd appreciate everyone's prayers for this precious little girl.

Here are some pictures: Madelynn's first day

Madelyn's footprint!

SuziQ- Thanks for sharing Madelynn Diane with us.

God please grant Madelynn Diane the strength to grow, as You did with Logan, and strength for her parents and family to get through this difficult time. God, we can't question or even begin to know why things are the way they are, but we trust fully in You to resolve them the way You wisely do, with loving kindness. Thank You for Your endless love and guidance, through the good times and the not-so-good, and grant us the serenity to go through life with our faith true to You. Through You all things are possible.

In Your Son Jesus's name, Amen.
