Vote vote-pfuscher

You need tons click "co-ordinating"

Of franc Patalong

Votes are a fine thing, the butter on message bread. They give a feedback to the on-line Medienmacher, how the reader sees a thing. George W. Bush regard nearly 60 per cent of the readers of MIRROR ON-line ONE for example as a Top president. We know also, why.

From the guidance for the falsification of the Mirror On-line Votes: "You need tons cklick ' co-ordinating!'" The widow Vivian Freep from Midland (Texas) is "George Bush's biggest more supporter".

Beautifully for Bush, the European imagines there, but in an American conservative Credos ascends equal the anger. An insolence is that, which does not want to say no more and less than the following: Bushs success is based on the assistance of humans, who manipulate, disturbs, falsifies.

Because "Freeping" is an Slang expression. He means the nocturnal pasting over of election posters, the organization of being noisy area MOS, the purposeful disturbing of appearances of political opponents and - not least - the massive falsification of tunings in the InterNet.

The strange term developed for end of the nineties and goes back on the web page "Free Republic" of the ultrakonservativen activists Jim Robinson. "Freep", how the web page was fast called by fans, understands itself as "a conservative message forum". Principal item of the offer is the panel, in which it goes partly violently to the thing.

The conservative click Guerilla

Free Republic began as Clinton Hasser side, developed themselves further however fast. First Lorbeeren harvested the "Freep Movement", when the side began to call in various elections for the "support" of conservative candidates.

Completely concretely: It concerned to disturb demonstrations of the democrats to tear off or falsify posters, to opponents to support actively. Already as itself Bill Clinton saw, to organized Freep groups in different US cities "info. meetings" and switched newspaper advertisements confronted with an office expulsion procedure. The term "Freeping" developed and meant: Over tones the opponent.

From the Useful Idiot Caption-A-Rama for 16 February 2004:

Check these out!

When ANSWER scumbags were pasting their rally posters all over our nation’s capital, the stalwart DC Free Republic Chapter made up these sponsor stickers and put them on the posters faster than the ANSWER thugs could get rid of them. I can’t share the original pic (it’s part of a HUGE photocollage) but a photo of a poster-sticker combo was dubbed a News Photo of the Year by The Hill newspaper. Great job, guys!

They're based on the emergency action message formats from the movie "By Dawn's Early Light."

Thank you. I will probably steal it...

I read through much of this thread as it happened. I don't believe that it ever received a PING. I am new to this list and so I may have missed it.

Jim Robinson posted this article (although others on this subject have since been added to FR).

Even despite the "Babelfish" style of the translation of this, I am deeply honored (I think) to be mentioned in this fashion. With a better translation to English, it might be possible to figure out whether this German publication is giving a fairly honest appraisal of what we are about, or a slash and burn one. As 'tis, it is hard to tell the difference.

That did not harm the "Freep Movement", which inserted a longer popularity break after the failure of the impeachment proceedings against Clinton,: At the latest since catastrophic 11 September and the radicalization in the political discourse of the USA, introduced thereby, "Freep" is stronger than ever before. The movement looks for ways in the Mainstream: Since the Gulf War "Freeps" engage themselves also as completely normal demonstrators for the good thing - for Bush and for the war. With John Armor, announced Free Republic on 2 September 2003, tries now "one OF our very own" into congress of US to be selected for the first time. Armor would make its forum forums-Nomen the Omen: So far it appeared there only as "Congressman BillyBob".

Hey, why don't they clear up this stuff before they print it. If it looks this bad in English, imagine how bad it looks auf Deutsch! : )

Did you see this from BUZZFLASH?

March 16, 2004
Freep this Poll! "Der Spiegel" Exposes The Free Republic's "Freeping" Strategies
Commentary and Summary Translation by BuzzFlash Reader Monica Friedlander

Something funny happened to the online version of Germany's weekly newsmagazine "Der Spiegel" earlier this month. Starting on March 5, its normally Bush-allergic readership suddenly appeared to turn around 180 degrees, giving an enthusiastic thumbs up to the American president in the magazine's online poll.

Fortunately, the editors of Der Spiegel didn't fall for the ruse, and unlike the mainstream U.S. media, they immediately alerted their readers to the growing right-wing menace: "Freepers!"
