6:00 ET: CBS radio news plays clip of Biden at whatever college is in Newark Deleware. He makes a claim of no connection between Al Qaida and Saddam, etc., gets rousing chorus of boos.
That's the third one of these things I've heard about now. Could it be that we're not the only ones that are sick and tired of listening to the liberals' chronic diarrhea of the mouth?
Biden is a U.N boy
As the parent of 2 young college students, I know that the level of 'indoctrination' to leftist causes in public school was so high it was blatant. The effect that had on many of the youth was that they'd do what they needed to in order to get the grade (they learned fast that disagreeing with the teacher had a negative impact on grades), but they didn't buy most of it.
How could they? Some of the stuff they are teaching our kids defies simple observation! The air is too dirty to breathe - but we go outside very day for recess. There will soon be no drinkable water - but no one I know has any trouble with water. Segregation was evil - but it's ok if it's the Young Black club, or the Hispanic Heritage club. The forests are almost gone - unless you drive ANYWHERE outside a metropolitan area and look around. It's only fair to hold everyone back till the slowest one in the class catches us - even if it means all but one are bored for weeks. Yada Yada Yada.
The kids are buying it because it's so blatant. They play the grade game, but once their diploma is in front of them they don't have to, and their parents don't have to be afraid to make their views known either.
Yes, the country is slowly becoming more Conservative. Certainly not as fast as we'd like, but it's going in the right direction, and our young people have become conservative much earlier than their boomer parents...
[what an interesting life you've led ;o)]
"I bet Maureen Dowd really in her heart lusts for Dubya if ya know what I mean."
In all seriousness, she'd have to be stone dead not to.
So, she may not. ;o)
There is absolutely NO WAY I could respect, or be attracted
to, a man who is prissier than I am. By Southern standards,
I'm not too prissy. There's still a bit of the tomboy in me. ;o)
Welcome back, onyx. The place hasn't been the same without you.
Glad to see you weigh in on the subject, WKB. lol

Bingo!
Good one, wd :)
He might not have ... but I would!
It's great to see you here!
Yes, wardaddy's on the beauty and sex threads. lol
If it were a bit earlier, WKB would be here, too.
It's one of his favorites places to be, ya' know. ;o)
I'm glad to see you stayed up for a bit.
I can't stay much longer, though.
My eyes are at half-mast as it is.
Not Hamilton or any other of the realists. Isolationism then was to allow the nation to develop strength and not have it prematurely drawn into European wars which would divide our nation into pro French and anti-French factions and tear it apart.
Washington's Farewell Address (written by Hamilton) was a warning against secession not a call for permanent isolationism. He would be all in favor of playing our proper role in the world today.
I salute you!
Ha...Ha...Ha...;o)
Why, thank you kindly.
That is correct Isolationism at the Founding was defensive. Today Interventionism is defensive as well.
Yes, wardaddy's on the beauty and sex threads. lol
If it were a bit earlier, WKB would be here, too.
It's one of his favorites places to be, ya' know. ;o)
Oh, he'll love you saying that! :)
