These vets had nothing to gain by coming forward with Truth. Don't we, the American Public, have a right to know what they are saying? You have hit the nail on the head. These guys are honoring each of us by their testimony. They still believe that America is worth it. Even an America that rewards the traitorous acts of one its sailors who supports the other side for his own personal advantage by electing him Senator.
Even an America that spit on them upon their return because of the testimony of that sailor. Even an America who believes the traitor's lies because that is easier than facing the truth that we abandoned millions to die because that was easier than living up to our honor bound commitment. Even an America that will now give them death threats and destroy their business's and their careers because now they have resurfaced to tell the truth about what really happened 35 years ago.
These men are heros and deserve to be honored. The fact that the DNC believes these men need to be destroyed - not just disagreed with - says what this election is truly about.
We just have to be worthy of their sacrifice. This time we must earn it.

Former POWs reject Kerry's bid
Since when did digging up the truth become a dirty trick?
Notice they didn't say that someone was hired to make up trash. If they're claiming someone dug up trash on Kerry, isn't that an admission that the allegations are true?
Kerry brought all this on himself. He didn't have to bring this up and make it a centerpiece of his campaign, at least not for any logical reasons. Either he has really poor judgment, or the man has psychological problems. Either way there is no way this man should be a Senator, much less President.
Neal Boortz mentioned he'll have the doctor who treated Kerry's first "wound" on his show later this morning. Supposedly the first time this doc has made a public statement.

CRITICAL - The Devastating "Swift Boat Vets" Ad Must Stay on Television Until the Election! I just showed it to my dad, who did sub-rescue with the Navy in the mid-50s and he was dazzled. "Of course it's true. All those guys..."
"Kerry Lied" is the campaign slogan and needs to be repeated often. He lied about his medals, he lied about his service, when lied about his fellow soldiers he got back to the states.
All Kerry has to do is release his military medical records like President Bush did. That would clear the whole thing up in no time, right?
I just donated money at their site. This is the first time in my life I have ever donated to a political cause. This TV ad really scared the shit out of me. With a brother in Afghanistan and another brother in the Air Force about to go overseas, I cannot stand the thought of John Kerry as CINC while my brothers are serving.
Proposed SwiftVets TV Commercial links are here ...
As Col. Troutman said " It's over Johnny" That was the most devastating thing I've heard yet.
Already the 'rats are screaming bloody murder...
John Kerry's slow fade to black.
Retired Adm. Roy Hoffmann, head of the Swift Boat group, said they respected McCain's "right to express his opinion and we hope he extends to us the same respect and courtesy, particularly since we served with John Kerry, we knew him well and Sen. McCain did not."
Statement from the Rear Admiral that heads the SBVfT, that the SBV paid for the right to make their statements with their own blood
Hannity just talked to someone at a radio station in Wisconsin. He said that he would run the ad because the supporting material that came with it was fantastic.

I suspect right about now Rassmann is asking himself why he ever switched parties, and decided to follow the false prophet.

Thanks for stopping by.
FWIW, I always wondered if Gilligan & the Skipper were early "alternate lifestyle" guys... and I had my doubts about the Professor, too.

We know this: a group of fine men who served their country honorably and well in the Vietnam war have come forward in all conscience because they cannot tolerate the thought of a lying, cheating, traitorious individual becoming commander in chief and having the lives of our men and women in the armed forces in his forever putrid hands and, indeed, all our lives.
How can decent, honorable men NOT do this? They have no choice because they ARE honorable men. Will we be honorable in moving to support them to the best of our abilities? Or are we mere observers - chattering voyeurs - of the passing scene?

These guys have demonstrated great courage.
I hope their personal lives are spotless because the left will throw at them every smear available.

I note that some of their more onerous hitmen like that Connason character are oozing out from under the rocks.

Maybe Ted Kennedy as the skipper?

Nah, Alan Hale was a cool guy who once ran out to the front of his restaurant and disarmed some lunatic armed with a knife or something. (Or so I heard.)
They were just a couple of guys driving their boat around trying to meet say, a movie star or a regular young woman from Kansas.

I haven't been able to bring up the SwiftVets site for two days now - overloaded or sabotaged, or both. Can someone supply the mailing address for contributions?

Sorry, I should have made note of the address. As you've discovered, their website is under a DOS attack, I wonder by whom... I'll try to get the address, though.
