FBI says VVAW disclosed US Military plans (Kerry's Treason)
Winter Soldier ^

Posted on 08/16/2004 11:10:50 AM PDT by BykrBayb

On www.wintersoldier.com's Timeline page, it says "April 22, 1972 -- John Kerry represents the VVAW at the "Emergency March for Peace" in Bryant Park in New York City."

At that same time, according to the FBI surveillance file, Section 50, Part 1, Page 152. VVAW/WSO revealed information about a US Military operation. "...the VVAW/WSO operation during 4/72 during which a canvass of VVAW/WSO members, some in active military service, developed information indicating US would bomb Hanoi and Haiphong. This information was disseminated by VVAW/WSO prior to the actual bombing and could have seriously jeopardized US Military operations and lives of servicemen."

This would have been the World Wide Alert during the Yom Kippur War that had us loading up the nukes, after there were satellite photos indicating that the USSR had nukes in Egypt.
This was the biggest alert since the Cuban Missile Crisis.
It was Big.

I remember it well. My husband was in the Army Reserves at the time - they activated his unit and he went tearing off to Old Camp Kilmer NJ in the middle of the night. There they were set to work repainting all their olive drab vehicles in desert sand . . . it came to nothing, but it got pretty exciting there for awhile.

Puleez, let's be smart on these things. Everyone was talking about bombing Hanoi/Haiphong for years. The real, no-nonsense bombing was in Dec 72. VVAW blabbering in Apr 72 would not have had any intel value to NVN, and certainly didn't cause McCain to be shot down several years EARLIER. BTW, one only had to read the papers or listen to TV/radio in Oct 73 to know we had gone to high DEFCON. Don't give the VVAW more clout or influence than they really had. Parading around in their SGT Pepper, Army surplus store get-ups didn't impress most people.

Presently reading FBI files on Kerry and VVAW.

VVAW distributed documents that were stamped with the following statement:

"NEVER THIK THAT WAR NO MATTER HOW NECESSARY NOR HOW JUSTIFIED IS NOT A CRIME. ASK THE INFANTRY AND ASK THE DEAD."

1978 -- Former VVAW leader Robert Muller founds the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA). The VVA also describes John Kerry as a "co-founder" of the organization. In the late 1980s, Mueller and the Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation (VVAF) will split from the VVA.

Muller or Mueller?
Is this the Robert Mueller, Kerry's classmate, and current director of the FBI?

McCain acknowledges giving ship locations to the Viet Namese captors in exchange for medical attention.

Seems he and Kerry are birds of a feather and are simply protecting each other.

That’s an offensive analogy. To compare to the two is outrageous as McCain did his duty at great personal cost. I don’t know if McCain told the VC anything, but if he did he did so unwillingly and held out as long as he could.

Disagree with his politics all you want, I often do, but your obvious hatred towards him has unbalanced you.

You are wrong. McCain admitted that he gave up ship positions in exchange for medical attention. Call it what you will, he gave up more than name rank and serial number.

Here is another tid bit from the FBI files.

"2. Page two of a document dated September 9,1971 concerning speakers at a VVAW rally, reads in part;
“A rally is scheduled for one P.M. September twelve next at the park. Scheduled speakers include Neil Mc Laughlin, one of eight persons indicted by FGC in four three seventy one for conspiracy to kidnap presidential advisor Henry Kissinger and blow up heating tunnels in Washington D.C.”

My commit:
Did Senator John Kerry know this person, and why would he allow an alleged Domestic Terrorist to speak at this VVAW rally about PEACE in Vietnam?

LOL! Seems the truth has HURT! Check out this snippet of MoveOn's newsletter that just came, they are whining:

Dear MoveOn member,

Last week, a group of far-right Bush allies released an ugly and outrageous ad which claims that John Kerry faked his injuries, betrayed his troops, and "dishonored his country" in Vietnam. The ad features people who say "I served with John Kerry" (although they didn't) and who make numerous provably false accusations about Kerry's war record.[1] It's one of the most vile tactics we've seen yet in Bush's ferociously negative campaign.

The "Swift Boat" ad is so far beyond the pale that even Senator John McCain, a Bush supporter, spoke out about it, calling it "dishonest and dishonorable."[2] Yet despite Senator McCain's request that President Bush "specifically condemn" the ad, Bush refuses to say anything about it.

Together, let's send President Bush a clear message from hundreds of thousands of Americans that we won't stand for these smear tactics, and we expect him to repudiate and reject them. We'll deliver our petition to President Bush on the campaign trail.

(snip)

If I recall correctly there was a thread about Kerry and the last time he spoke to Hubbard

He was also asked about Hubbard at a press conference earlier this year

Click here for the video ... It's towards the end that he was asked and he deny speaking to Hubbard since that week it was found out he wasn't who Hubbard claim to have been

Kerry also stated he was proud of the work he did back in the 70's

McPain can be an ass, but I've heard remorse from him about not being strong enough standing up to the NV Communists.

Thanks for catching that typo -- it's "Muller."

No relation to the current FBI director.

I don't suspect this Muller would have made it through a confirmation hearing.

He resigned his leadership in Nov. of 1971

I'd say this date appears to be disinformation; most likely disseminated by the Kerry supporters.

Yet Kerry made it to Senator. A lesser standard, sadly.
