I also sent an e-mail (just gets it off my chest, won't do any good)asking CBS some questions:Would they be bringing up that Bennie B is a Vice Chair for Kerry campaign; would they question him about his shady past; would they be interviewing any of the Swift boat veterans, and would they be requesting Kerry's military records.

I got an email from the Swifties asking me to match my last donation. I'm retired, but opened up my billfold, and after the moths came flying out, reached in and took out one of my credit cards and dashed off another donation to them. It's all in the memory of my brother Bill, who served with Co. C, 4th Btn, 23rd Infantry (Mech.), 25th Infantry Division, Vietnam 1966-67. I'm fighting this bastard for him.

Outrage at actions bordering on treason, all's fair and game with charges that at worst would show Bush tried to stay out of Vietnam. This is what the left thinks is 'fair and balanced'.

Hell, 99% of the young men my age tried to leverage for best advantage with regard to Vietnam. If Bush Sr. got him in to this national guard, and I don't think he did, it wouldn't be a crime.

It is interesting to know that many of the U.S. prisoners of war in the North were pilots. I tend to doubt any national guard pilots served in Vietnam, but you never know where you might wind up should hostilities break out.

One thing that the Dems never mention is that it takes a fair amount of smarts to pilot jet aircraft. It's probably not that smart to keep mentioning that Bush was a fighter jet pilot, but then nobody accused the left of having a clue did they.

Brit's show today was excellent. Baring the lies of the day: Boston Globe, Kerry lies in his speech, Kitty Kelley AND Ben Barnes.

On Barnes they played the clip of him saying back when that "When I was Lt. Governor..." and then off they went exposing him as a liar.

Segment ended with Brit noting that Sixty Minutes has yet to cover the Swiftboat Veterans for Truth.

(same for the Today Show which is hosting the inelegant and skanky in the extreme Kitty Kelley next week for not one, not two, but three days)

I'm retired, and money is not plentiful, but I am supporting the Swift Vets because they are honorable men who were besmirched by Kerry years ago and the story of how these men served admirably in Viet Nam deserve to be told.

Also, I'm thinking of what would happen if those children who were slaughtered were my grandchildren. President Bush cares about that as well, Kerry doesn't.
